Moha exceeded our expectations in every way. He suggested two attractions in Kanazawa that we had no idea about - the Ninja Temple and the Seisonkaku Villa - and both turned out to be the most memorable of our tour. He is also an expert at managing time to ensure that we were able to enjoy all the historical sites we wanted to see during our 8 hour tour. He is also polite, charming, funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. He taught us so much about Kanazawa as well as Japanese culture in general which made us appreciate everything that we got to experience. He was also able to converse with us in 3 languages (English, Arabic, and French) while at the same time assisting us at Omicho market to translate what we wanted to say in Japanese so that we can order the right food. It was such a pleasant day and the 8 hours (and 14 km walk) flew by so fast because we were having so much fun. Moha also took us to the best spots for pictures and took some amazing photos of us so that we can cherish those memories.

We had the most amazing afternoon and evening with Jorge, he was the best host that we could have had the privilege to be with. He accommodated our culinary experience in Kanazawa with such flair and variety. Jorge was so professional and knowledgeable about Kanazawa and the food district. Jorge went well beyond our expectations with giving us the best opportunity to experience what we really wanted to try. Jorge started the evening taking us to the “ second best melon pan bread” shop in Kanazawa. The chefs mother made the first best melon pan he told us… We had lots of food, sake, beer, and fun. I gave Jorge a list of foods we wanted to go to and Jorge accommodated everyone of them. You must make the food tour the first thing you do when you visit Kanazawa and use the number one tour guide. Jorge is the best local person to spend some time with he will make your experience something to remember. We would 100% recommend Jorge to everyone.

We had the most fantastic culinary experience with our wonderful food guide Jorge. His great personality started before we had even met as his communication regarding our possible requests to try our favourite foods was greeted with such a positive response. Jorge started the tour with a great introduction and explaining how he came to Kanazawa. We started with a brief look at a local shrine close to our hotel and then was followed up with an amazing surprise of trying Melonpan. A light bread with various toppings, I opted for honey and it was just delicious. We knew the night was going to be very good from the start. Jorge continued the evening entertaining and being the most professional host on what was our highlight of Kanazawa..Jorge’s ability to be multi lingual was an additional advantage for us as we went to local restaurants that felt very comfortable with Jorge ‘s fun attitude in hosting tourist who wanted to share the culinary delights that Kanazawa has to offer. We had the best evening with a wonderful host, great food, and Jorge took us to an amazing bar that played vinyl records. We finished the evening off with the freshest sushi and sake. If you want to have the most delicious and amazing food experience in Kanazawa book the food tour with Jorge. He will feel like a new friend that you never knew you had. Overall I would recommend this great tour that can be totally tailored to your culinary requirements and hosted by the best guide . Jorge should be working for the Kanazawa tourism board as he clearly loves the culinary scene and is just so happy to make you feel welcomed. Thank you Jorge you truly made our experience memorable and you are a terrific guy.
