It was wonderful having Natsuko as our food guide in Kanazawa! She has lived there her whole life and was an excellent historian. She took the time to get to know us beforehand and chose the best restaurant to share local foods. Spending time with Natsuko was a joy - she felt like an old friend! We highly recommend this experience as it allowed us to know the city on a much deeper level.

10/4/2026 we had the pleasure of having Akari as our guide for our food tour. She was friendly and spoke very well English and made the night fun and enjoyable. The restaurant she took us to I can only say it was 10/10. The food was incredible, staff was friendly and both my husband and myself thought it was fantastic and would go back in a second. After the restaurant we went for local beer tasting and we loved the combination of flavours. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I would give Akari 10/10 as everything was perfect. If you are looking to book definitely ask for her because we had the best time

10/4/2026 my husband and I visited Kanazawa and had a night food tour with our guide Akari. The experience was perfect, she took us to a traditional style Japanese restaurant where the food and and staff was 10/10. Afterwards we finished the night with local beer tasting. My husband and I was so happy with our tour with Akari and requested her for the next day to do a walking tour of Kanazawa. All in all our night food tour was 10/10 and we would recommend it to anyone.
