Must-see city highlights tours

Kalid arrived early and got us started with the observation deck of our hotel which was included with the tour. He was flexible, communicated the history of the city and all sites visited with candid honesty, personal relevance and great respect for the Japanese democracy, culture and way of life. Our tour was action packed with information from beginning to end, with information delivered at a pace we were willing to consume it and relevant to the sites we visited. I highly recommend Kalid, as someone who can relate to the information curious tourist as myself are seaking, and now a resident who has educated himself on the history of Japan! Kalid, thanks for the excellent job you did today! All of the personal touches you added to today's tour, were invaluable!

A fabulous and informative 4 hour tour with Marek. Taken at a good pace, with hops on & off subway, absolutely delighted that we packed so many wonderful sites in on our last day and had time for a traditional lunch.

We started our day at dawn at Fushimi Inari Shrine on a solo trek through the gates-if you wait it gets too crowded to go with all of the group tours. Then we met up with Yuko- she was a great guide who knows Japanese culture and sights really well and yet she speaks perfect English! She led us to the old Imperial Palace (Kyoto Gyoen) and gardens where she filled us in with lots of history and we saw some beautiful Sakura and Plum trees. Then, because Yuko had researched, we were fortunate to catch a glimpse of Anaraku-ji Temple which is only open during camellia blooming season as the lovely grounds there are covered with them. We had already seen the Golden Temple, so Yuko suggested we see the Silver Temple which was wonderful. The view of the city when you walk up the path around the garden is spectacular! This is a great spot for panoramic photo of Kyoto. Afterwards, we headed over to the Market for buying a knife and kimono which was so nice to have Yuko to help find a store for these items. We were a little hungry and tired and wanted to sit to eat so she took us to this perfect spot where we had sake, soup and other light delicious bites and we learned more about food culture and sake tasting. Lastly, we went to an ikebana (Japanese floral art) display which was fascinating and I took soooo many photos. Thank you for the best day Yuko!!!

Alan was very knowledgeable about the history and the city of Girona itself. He had even taken time to study the various options of routes one can take to reach the cathedral, so that he can provide a less strenuous route for people who may find it difficult to climb the steps. That shows he really cares about providing the best services to the visitors. He also made recommendation and reservations for our lunch and dinner at very good restaurants. We really enjoyed our tour with him and we have no hesitation to recommend him. We ourelves will certainly look for him when we next come back to Baecelona. Thank you Alan. ,
