What I adore most about Perth is that it has a little bit of everything - history, arts, and nature all within easy reach. I work at the WA Museum, so I’m surrounded by culture every day, and I enjoy catching up with friends over great food, sunshine, and coffee. On weekends, you’ll often find me hiking new trails or joining improv shows, which I once performed in at the Fringe Festival. I know Fremantle and Perth CBD like the back of my hand, from the buzzing Cultural Centre to hidden gems for dining and shopping. My friends call me their go-to person for fun events and weekend markets, and I’m always excited to help others discover what makes Perth so special.
I love calling Perth home. It has the perfect chill vibes, an amazing multicultural scene, and the higher salary doesn’t hurt either. I’m a total foodie and try new restaurants almost every day, so I know all the hidden gems around Perth. From the lively streets of Mount Lawley and Subiaco to the scenic beaches and parks, I can show you the best spots this city has to offer. Whether it’s a quiet neighborhood in Dianella or the buzz of Perth CBD, I’m your go-to guide for fantastic food, stunning views, and local adventures. Come explore with me!
I’m a warm, easygoing Perth local who loves soaking in the city’s energy, especially on a clear day when the sky is bright and the skyline feels alive. You’ll often find me on a rooftop bar just watching Perth move, or exploring the secret garden, a cozy bar with a tree at its heart, or my favourite underground spot. I know the city and Fremantle like the back of my hand, and I love sharing hidden places for great food, drinks, music, or a bit of history. If you want to experience the real Perth and the tucked-away gems most people miss, I’d love to show you around.
What I enjoy most about Perth is its vibrant coffee culture where locals truly support small cafés over big chains, the efficient public transport, and how safe the city feels. You’ll often find me exploring new coffee spots or checking out thrift stores that champion sustainability and community. I know Perth CBD and Victoria Park really well, from museums filled with history to lush parks and beautiful scenic views. I also know Perth’s food scene inside out, from local markets to popular dining places, and I’m always excited to help visitors taste the city’s diverse flavors.
Here is what our guests say about our hosts and creating memories
Wonderful tour. We were sent a questionnaire which helped match us to the best tour guide for us. We were very lucky to get Ling who took us on an amazing tour and showed us some hidden gems of the city. She even showed us a great spot for lunch, that we would never have discovered ourselves. As we are interested in art and architecture Ling showed us some amazing street art, sculptures and some wonderful buildings. Ling was a brilliant tour guide and we would highly recommend taking this tour.
This was a great way to unwind after our long flight and get some fresh air as we explored Melbourne. Mike was a great guide- friendly, knowledgeable, and tuned in to our level of energy and interests. Highly recommend.
We loved Maeve! She showed us a variety of places and was very well-educated on the sites we visited. She obviously has a love of Melbourne. She has also been very helpful in recommending places to eat, get dessert, etc.
This is one of the best tours to do if you only have a couple of days to spend in Sydney. We're happy to have been matched with a professional, kind & knowledgeable tour guide named Olivia. We were so unlucky with the pouring rain throughout the day but that didn’t stop us from exploring the city and still saw a lot in spite of the weather. Olivia was exceptionally skilled in showing the best sights around Sydney and best of all she showed us how to use the Ferry and light rail. We had been here decades ago but Olivia made it easy for us to reminisce the past & compare the present. | highly recommend to give this tour a try and it will be worth your time.
Our walking city tour with Ross was outstanding. We found Sydney to be a big city with a rich history that had far more of a frontier feel than you might imagine. The complex history of Australia and Sydney were covered thoroughly and fairly by Ross. Additionally, his knowledge of today’s Sydney and its offerings were useful.
Wonderful city tour with tons of history . Our tour guide was so knowledgable and filled our day with amazing buildings, gardens, shops, arcades ( shop alleys) , street art walls and ended at the public library. We walked the entire tour and saw so many amazing areas with so many styles. Our tour guide Maeve had such insight to the history in Melbourne. She was a delight to spend the day with. Highly recommend booking a tour of the city.
Michael was so warm and engaging! Our time together flew by and I feel well prepared to see more of what we previewed on our tour. A perfect way to start our first visit to Melbourne!
Had a really great tour with our tour guide Ling. She showed us lots of places off the beaten track that we wouldn’t have found on our own and really personalised it to our own interests. She was very informative about the local area and recommended places for us to eat and visit later in our trip. All in all a wonderful experience and well worth the money.
