I love how Brisbane invites you to explore - from hiking up Mt Coot-tha to strolling along the riverwalk or catching an indie gig in a tucked-away bar. On weekends, you’ll usually find me wandering through the Botanic Gardens and ending up at Howard Smith Wharves for caffeine and people-watching. I know the ins and outs of Toowong, Taringa, Milton, St Lucia, the CBD, West End, and Kangaroo Point - the perfect spots for food lovers, sunset seekers, and anyone who wants to feel like a true local.

Visit Host ProfileI love my footy. I support West Tigers in the National Rugby League (NRL) & Carlton Blues in the Australian Football League (AFL).
I love Brisbane for its river alfresco culture, warm weather, and the mix of city life and nature. I enjoy walking to the summit of Mount Gravatt, spotting koalas in the national park, and exploring events, theatre, galleries, and restaurants. I love trying the dining options at the Star Casino, attending Brisbane Festival and QPAC shows, and discovering the best outdoor walks and happenings around the parklands and city. I know Southbank, CBD, New Farm, Fortitude Valley, James Street, and West End very well. I am passionate about bush walking, photography, finding great bars and restaurants, and hosting events and business meetings.

I love the city’s relaxed vibe and our beautiful sub-tropical climate, which makes Brisbane a great place to enjoy year-round. Being retired gives me the freedom to dive into the ever-growing food scene, especially around Queen’s Wharf and Howard Smith Wharves, where there’s always something new to try. I’m also an avid photographer and enjoy wandering the streets capturing the character of this amazing city. From the CBD and Fortitude Valley to West End, South Brisbane, Milton, New Farm, and Kangaroo Point, I know the neighborhoods inside out. I keep up with the latest events and hidden gems and, living in the CBD, I’m a pro at getting around using Brisbane’s fantastic public transport system. Let’s explore together!

Here is what our guests say about our hosts and creating memories
Our guide Evan was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, entertaining and accommodating to our requests and style of touring.
Great flexible introductory to Melbourne history, restaurant , museums and highlights. Very informative and knowledgeable guide.
Lovely walk t/o the city with Peter. Very informative and accommodating!! I would highly recommend to others.
Cherida’s tour was a highlight of our visit to Melbourne. She reached out with a proposed itinerary, then customized it to our interests, which made it a special experience. We learned much about the history of Melbourne, some of the important people who helped shape it, and visited some beautiful, historic buildings (don’t miss the State Library!). We saw some laneways and arcades, and ended at the Queen Victoria Market. Highly recommend Cherida’s tour.
Mike was a wonderful Guide! He showed us all the sites as advertised and was very genuine, friendly, and gave us many options during our trip! Highly recommended!
Rhonda was smart, nice, knowledgeable and very patient with our group. Could not have asked for a better guide.
Wonderful tour
Evan designed a walking tour to suit our needs and was extremely helpful in aligning our preferences to the sites we saw. Was able to add the personal touch showing us bakeries and drinking spots that were wonderful.

After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire where you can share your interests, travel style, and any must-see spots. Based on that, we’ll match you with a local host who’ll reach out to plan your personalized itinerary.
Yes! You can blend food, culture, history, neighborhoods, or even a bit of nightlife if time allows. Just share your interests in the questionnaire, and your host will build the day around them.
