I have never had such a unique tour. Marisol asked in advance what I was hoping to get out of the tour. She crafted a morning to introduce me to the history, culture, politics and religion of Mexico city over the centuries, by visiting amazing sites I would have not even thought to see. Then when our time was done, she created a google maps walking path for me to see more sites on my own. Lovely and knowledgeable woman.

Tour was excellent and Marisol was willing to accommodate our desires. Found areas of Mexico City we would not have found on our own. Highly recommend.

Wow! Ernesto took us to the most beautiful parts of Mexico City and gave us a very thorough overview of the history and culture. He customized the tour to just what we wanted to see and do and honestly made us fall in love with the city. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Mexico City but also shared his many personal experiences and perspectives about the culture which really added another layer of our tour. Make sure you ask for Ernesto because he was truly the perfect guide!

This was exactly what I’d asked for: a real tour of Mexico City where I wouldn’t see other tourists. This tour delivered. Our guide was brilliant, bringing her background as an architect to help explain the rich and complex nature of Mexico City. The discussion with her was truly wonderful and insightful.

Ernesto welcomed us to Mexico City by email a couple of weeks before the tour. He confirmed our request to meet him at our hotel and notified us of being a few minutes late because of traffic. Friendly and very knowledgeable, he thoroughly answered all our questions while walking us from one neighborhood to the next. We covered a lot of ground in five hours, including learning much about the politics and history of Mexico. We enjoyed a lunch of tacos and guacamole with him, managed to complete a couple of small purchases of necessities that would have been more complicated without him. We saw a lot, ended up far from our hotel, but he helped us get an Uber back at the end of the tour. He was super and we highly recommend him.

This tour was great because the company customizes the tour to your needs and they even prepare a questionnaire before you go on the tour. But what made the tour great was Lando as he was not only knowledgeable but very entertaining to be with and most importantly knew where to go, what to eat, and what to experience so that I would have a good time. I highly recommend this tour anyone!

Lando was really great. He quickly realized what I was interested in and took me to places that I loved. Also you can tell he is very knowledgeable about everything but was more surprising was that he made it short, simple, but more importantly funny and unique because he understood that is what I wanted. All the food was great and would quickly go off the path if there were fun things going on like people performing. I would for sure reccomend Lando!

Our guide, Lando, was very knowledgeable about culture, religion, architecture, and, his main interest, history. We wanted a general overview of all these subjects as we had very little time in Mexico City. And he satisfied our request. He also was methodical about his planning so that we did not get stuck in tourist crowds. I.e. knowing when to start where before the crowds. Highly recommend Lando.

My first time in Mexico City. The day before, I was able to visit the National Museum of History in Chapultepec Park which in of itself is amazing. The museum uses beautiful murals and artwork to tell the history of Mexico. I was able to apply what I learned to the tour. This tour ended being the last thing on my trip and I truly enjoyed it. Mexicans have a funny bone which I was able to point out and both the guide Adriana and I were able to laugh. Lots of history, lots of fun. Bring a water bottle, hat or parasol, and sunscreen, the sun is no joke. I started my tour at 0800 (3hrs). I chose the private tour b/c I wanted to go at my pace

Adriana brings Mexico City's history to life while fostering real connection and intellectual conversation. Highly recommended for curious minds. She is an outstanding, knowledgeable, authentic, and thoughtful guide. She took the time to ask what we were interested in, and when we said Aztec history and the Mexican Revolution, she lit up. We had deep conversations about colonialism, inequality, and the complexities of historical figures. She didn’t shy away from tough topics and offered insights without preaching; we even swapped thoughts on our own personal cultural histories. It was the kind of tour that stays with you, not just because of the places we saw but the ideas we explored together. Adriana is someone I genuinely hope to stay in touch with. If you’re the kind of person who asks big questions and wants more than surface-level storytelling, she’s exactly who you want as your guide.

Adriana was a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide. She was right on time and really gave us a thorough tour, including some great “hidden gems” that you would likely not find on your own.

Adriana was amazing at showing my family and I the gems of Mexico City. We requested to see the Basilica and other neighborhoods and areas, Adriana did an incredible job showing us different areas and providing her knowledge and history of each location. We ended at a local market and got to try out some tasty fruit.

Our guide Ninelth was very good, she adapted the tour just how we wanted. A little culture, history and food.

Oskar is a very knowledgeable and likable guide. He took us all over downtown, showing us architectural points, explaining the history ofAztec ruins, guiding us through the cathedral and other cultural spaces. We got a great introduction to the current culture, and went to two of his favorite taquerias. We could not have done any of this on our own. Fabulous!

Nicolas is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. I took a two-hour tour and, although I'm not a fan of architectural styles, I enjoyed connecting the historical dots. He provided insights not only about the two neighborhoods but also about the Mexica and Spanish conquests.

Nic made us feel right at home and shared his excellent knowledge of the history and origins of Mexico City or what we now know is the center of the universe.

Spent a beautiful morning exploring Roma and Condesa with Claudia - it felt like I was with a friend! She knew the area well and took me to see a couple of hidden gems I’d have otherwise missed. I’d definitely recommend booking her tour!

The local tour with a guide was the highlight of my business trip! My second visit to Mexico City was for a conference and I def needed a break from the hotel. My first time hiring a private guide was definitely worth the experience! Isaac took me to some hidden gems that I would never have seen wandering on my own. He knew my interest was in architecture, history and food -- but not in that order!! Highlights were an amazing lunch in Roma North and a wander through the Condesa neighborhood! If I had a dog and could work remotely from there I would!

My wife and I had a great tour with Isaac! It was our first time in Mexico City and we wanted to learn about the local neighborhoods and also eat great tacos. I loved getting to know Mexico City from a local like Isaac, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and food scene. Isaac was kind and very informative during our tour. He met us at our lodging and took us to some of the best taco spots in the area (some of which we ended up going back to even after our tour was over). It was a great experience overall and I highly recommend taking this tour, especially with Isaac as a tour guide!

For our first visit to Mexico City, we were looking for a walking tour to give us an orientation to the city on our first day. Nico was our tour guide and he delivered! He met us near our hotel in Reforma and we explored the Centro Historica. He is super positive, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed spending the day with him and learned so much in a short period of time. He gave us just the right amount of information about history and culture without overwhelming us as he showed us around so many key sights and took us to a few locals places to grab a snack and lunch. Highly recommend! Suggest 4-5 hours as there is a lot to cover so you can go at a relaxed pace and have time to stop for a snack and grab a bite to eat.

We did a tour with Nicolas on Saturday, 10/12, and from the moment we booked, his incredible hospitality and fun energy shone through. He connected with us on WhatsApp and instantly made us feel like we had a friend in Mexico City. The tour started at 8 am in Roma Norte, and Nicolas expertly guided us through the city at a comfortable pace, offering great commentary and plenty of laughs along the way. He took us to his favorite coffee and lunch spots, shared fascinating insights about the area, and even provided helpful tips before and after the tour to ensure we made the most of our time in CDMX. My girlfriend and I are so grateful for the memorable experience, and we can't recommend Nicolas enough. We will absolutely book with him again when we return to Mexico City. He's truly the best Colombian tour guide in Mexico :D !

Ingrid took us to the centre where we visited the Zocalo Plaza, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Templo Mayor. She also showed us to the former school with many Diego Rivera murals, the Beaux Artes Museum and a marketplace of only authentic Mexican crafts. She also took us on the Metro and explained how to navigate it. Now we will be confident when we return to see everything in more depth.

It felt like walking with a friend while receiving interesting insights on the city, it's people, it's history and the day to day dynamics. Loved to be able to go on my own pace and ask all the questions that came into my mind.
