Mirasol was an incredible host. I planned the trip and the experience because of the true customizable manor of the day. I'd booked it as a "private tour" but had a photographer and her assistant join as well as I'd planned to propose to my now fiance on the trajinera ride! Mirasol not only went above and beyond to make sure we were all in the right place at the right time but actually herself got us a mariachi to help us celebrate the moment on the trajinera after. It truly couldn't have been a more special day and when my photographer friend and her assistant had to leave she then took my fiance and I around the rest of the Xochimilco area teaching us the history, trying street food, helping us shop at the market. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

An absolute must in Mexico City. Marisol's passion for the city is contagious. We learnt so much about Mexico City and the culture. We also had the most amazing food and company. Mexico and Marisol have a special place in our hearts.

Our guide was Marisol and she was a DELIGHT! She was so knowledgeable, she real-time tailored our tour to our interests, she was engaging, and even took us to her favorite taquerias in the city when we mentioned my husband is a chef. She even sent us links to restaurants, cafes, and day trip travel plan ideas after the tour was finished. This was by FAR one of the best tour experiences my husband and I have had!

Our tour guide was Roberto. He was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our interests. We wanted to see more of the pre-columbian parts and learn more about the different phases of Mexico City. Roberto was also very open to share his personal experience as an archeologist from different sites around Mexico. We learned so much and had fun doing it.

We had limited time in Mexico city so we opted for a personal tour with Roberto. We were very grateful for his generous time. He was very patient, knowledgable, a great sense of humor and in general a joy to spend time with.

Friendly knowledgeable chap good English and knows the way around areas and people. Will accommodate personal requests.

Roberto knows the city very well and shared a wealth of historical and cultural information. We also loved the stops for tacos and tequila.

Lando was absolutely incredible! He truly brought the history of the ancient city alive. He went above and beyond to ensure we were engaged and learning while having a great time. He volunteered to take SO many pictures and videos, which are all really special to look back on. Sometimes it’s tough to get pictures of the two of you when traveling as a couple, so it was very considerate of Lando to make sure we had all we could want. He ended up recommending a taco place that was one of our favorites of the trip, and picked us up and dropped us off exactly where needed. His knowledge is off the charts and really filled in the gaps. Teotihuacan is a place where you really need a guide to get the most value, and Lando delivered and then some. Thank you!!

Lando was amazing. He took photos along the way and was extremely knowledge about the history of the city and the culture.

Adriana is a GEM! She completely customized the food tour for our location, preferences, and restrictions, and took care of everything from there. She had multiple options available at all times and did a great job of taking us to hidden finds and local favorites. We’ve been looking to the food tour for a long time and Adriana really delivered! In addition to being knowledgeable she is a wonderfully warm person who was a joy to chat with and spend the evening with. She’s the best and really kicked off our vacation in the perfect way! Oscar is a historian and could tell us all about the architecture and history of the region, plus the history of the war monuments.

Wonderful introduction to Mexico City. Oskar was an incredible guide - he was so knowledgeable and incorporated history and current events throughout the tour. In addition to the downtown highlights, we visited places that I would never have found on my own - hidden murals, galleries, libraries doubling as art installations, convents, shops, etc. highly recommend Oskar!

Nileth was a wonderful tour guide who catered perfectly to our family and brought an amazing blend of local history, culture, and personal insights. She also included thoughtful stops to experience authentic local cuisine, which made the day even more special. From the moment I met Ninelth it has been exceptional. From the notes before we met, to the personalized tour to the understanding that is was only 1 not two but from our beginning I learned so much about Mexico City and Mexico that I found myself teaching others as I moved through the city. I consider this one of my best tours ever taken in the world.

We had a wonderful time on this custom private tour with our guide Ninelth. Her passion for history was evident from the start, and we really enjoyed exploring the sights with someone so knowledgeable. Ninelth even took photos of us along the way, which was a thoughtful touch and very helpful. One small suggestion for improvement would be to include a built-in snack or hot chocolate stop. We went to a delicious hot chocolate place on our own and enjoyed it, and it would be nice to have that included so guests do not have to worry about paying extra. I would have been happy to pay a little extra for the ticket if it includes that. Overall it was a great experience, and we highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a personal and informative look at Mexico City.

Nina is an amazing and patient tour guide who made our experience in Mexico City truly unforgettable. Her passion for indigenous communities and civilizations shines through in every part of the tour. She’s incredibly knowledgeable — covering everything from language, art history, and architecture to anthropology and theology — and shares it all in a way that’s both engaging and accessible. We learned so much about the many cultural and historical influences that have shaped Mexico City. A highlight was grabbing delicious tacos during the tour and exploring the vibrant Mercado de San Juan. I only wish we had more time! Nina’s warmth, insight, and enthusiasm made this tour one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Highly recommended!

If you are staying in Reforma or Polanco I would highly recommend this tour to see another neighborhood in this city. Nic was a fantastic guide. He covered the culture, architecture, history, and the food scene. It was a lovely two hour walk around mostly Roma and he gave me lots of recommendations on things to try later. It was a wonderful experience and I grabbed lunch locally before I left afterwards. Thanks so much, Nic!

A personalize tour of Mexico City. We are a family of 4 and Nic was very engaging to the teenagers in the group. We got an abridged history, we can only learn so much in an afternoon. It was wonderful.

We felt very safe and got a lot of insights. Guide is very nice and always took care of us and our interests.

Our guide was Claudia. She was very knowledgeable. We wanted to see Roma, Condesa and Polanco and focus on walkign around and understanding the newer part of the city. The tour was excellent and taylored exactly to our needs. It was so wonderful to explore the city on foot.

Claudia was a lovely and engaging tour guide, who took us to many of the main attractions and also hidden gems.

I liked how the guide made it possible that we could sneak in for expample the entry of the National Museum or National Bank to get a look without having to buy tickets.

The local tour with a guide was the highlight of my business trip! My second visit to Mexico City was for a conference and I def needed a break from the hotel. My first time hiring a private guide was definitely worth the experience! Isaac took me to some hidden gems that I would never have seen wandering on my own. He knew my interest was in architecture, history and food -- but not in that order!! Highlights were an amazing lunch in Roma North and a wander through the Condesa neighborhood! If I had a dog and could work remotely from there I would!

My wife and I had a great tour with Isaac! It was our first time in Mexico City and we wanted to learn about the local neighborhoods and also eat great tacos. I loved getting to know Mexico City from a local like Isaac, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and food scene. Isaac was kind and very informative during our tour. He met us at our lodging and took us to some of the best taco spots in the area (some of which we ended up going back to even after our tour was over). It was a great experience overall and I highly recommend taking this tour, especially with Isaac as a tour guide!

Nico spent a lot of time with us, telling us about the history of the city, making stops for tacos & drinks, and providing a great introduction to Mexico City. Good communication before the tour to find out what we were interested in.

Nico made the experience a really good one. He knows the city, the history and he is really a pleasant guide. We learned a lot about Mexico and we visited key hotspots.

What made the experience special was having such a knowledgeable guide who really knew Mexico City and Xochimilco inside and out. It made a huge difference to have someone who could easily navigate between locations, share the history and culture of both areas, and even introduce us to trusted local contacts, like our boat operator. I also appreciated learning useful local phrases so we could interact with people ourselves. The guide gave us great tips on where to get the best photos and experience the city’s nightlife. Overall, it was an amazing, well-rounded experience.

For our first visit to Mexico City, we were looking for a walking tour to give us an orientation to the city on our first day. Nico was our tour guide and he delivered! He met us near our hotel in Reforma and we explored the Centro Historica. He is super positive, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed spending the day with him and learned so much in a short period of time. He gave us just the right amount of information about history and culture without overwhelming us as he showed us around so many key sights and took us to a few locals places to grab a snack and lunch. Highly recommend! Suggest 4-5 hours as there is a lot to cover so you can go at a relaxed pace and have time to stop for a snack and grab a bite to eat.

Alejandro was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Mexico City. We began with the history of the city, beginning at ground zero (where the historical, pre-Colombian) beginnings of the city origins. We visited an archeological museum, then Alejandro, went the extra mile to review additional archeological findings around town. Next, we walked through the colonial historical neighborhoods, and markets, all the while getting more architectual knowledge along the way. Alejandro was especially effective in connecting the historial city to its evolution into the modern city we see today, including the historical persons involved. Extremely thorough and comprehensive, I am so much smarter now, then I was this morning, before I went on the tour with Alejandro. Bring comfortable walking shoes - you'll get plenty of steps in!

Yaravi, was excellent. As first time visitors to Mexico City we wanted to enjoy street food. Yara took us to a local restaurant. It was great.

Yara was an informative, kind, and overall excellent tour guide. She took us around Condesa and Roma Norte on the evening of our arrival in Mexico City. We were staying in Condesa and wanted to get familiar with our surrounding neighborhood. She did that perfectly. She showed us the major streets, the major parks and landmarks, and a bunch of the restaurants we had reservations at over the course of our trip. She also gave us the history of the neighborhood within the long history of Mexico City and showed as some must-see spots that my wife and I had not found in our own research. Overall, it was a great way to start our trip.
