Hi, I'm Kevin - born and raised in a small town in Canada, I grew up with love for nature and the natural environment.

After traveling to our beautiful west coast, I began to share my passion with others as a tour guide. Spending the majority of my time leading multiday kayak tours, I was able to spend 10 amazing seasons on the Pacific coast. It was during this time that I met my Australian partner. We moved to Australia in late 2019, and it is possible that there was no worse time to come. Bushfires raged and as soon as the fires calmed down, the pandemic began. Despite all of this, Sydney was a city I quickly fell in love with. My first job here was doing kayak tours to Shark Island which gave me a unique perspective of the city. As much as I thought I wouldn't enjoy a major city like Sydney, I was blown away by how much natural beauty there is in such a big city. It has quickly become home and is a place I am passionate about sharing its natural beauty, and cultural history with the entire world.

I’m Pipster, your go-to Sydney sidekick who has lived all over the world and still insists this is the best city on Earth (and yes, I can prove it with beaches, brunch, and unbeatable shopping).

You’ll usually find me wandering the historic nooks of The Rocks, power strolling past Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, or doing every foreshore walk like it is a competitive sport. I know the eastern suburbs like an old friend, especially Paddington’s hidden treasures.
