We wanted a relatively simple 2 hour tour that provides some insights into Hong Kong history and local sights/ living and Regene provided exactly that, adapting to our pace to the warm weather and our 2 teenagers

Booking the food experience tour with Benny was the highlight of our trip. Benny did not just take us to eat amazing, authentic ethnic food; he also shared the history and heritage behind every single dish. We visited local food markets and tasted incredible street food flavours we never would have found on our own. What truly sets Benny apart is the wellness and the cultural education he integrates into the experience. During our stops, he taught us about the health benefits of drinking hot green tea with our meals explaining how it cuts through rich foods and thus aids digestion. He also took the time to educate us on the traditional dining customs. Benny taught us proper chopsticks etiquette- like never sticking them vertically in the food and the cultural significance of how to hold and use the crockery correctly. It completely changed how we appreciated each meal and made us feel so much more respectful and connected to the culture. Benny is incredibly knowledgeable, warm and passionate about his job. Finally if you want a food experience in Hong Kong you must book with Benny.

Benny took us through the vibrant neighborhoods of Sham Shui Po and Jordan, introducing us to authentic local restaurants and hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. Every stop was carefully chosen, and every dish was delicious, giving us a true taste of Hong Kong’s incredible food culture. We tried a great variety of traditional dishes, and Benny explained the history and local significance behind each one, making the experience even more enjoyable. What really made the tour special was Benny himself. He was friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about Hong Kong, and happy to answer all of our questions. Walking through the local neighborhoods with him gave us a much deeper appreciation of the city’s culture and everyday life.

Robert was an excellent guide showing us all the key sites and adapting when the weather was extremely wet. Would definitely recommend.
