What I love most about Guadalajara is how it perfectly blends two worlds, the Spanish and the pre-Hispanic, making it both historical and modern at the same time. I enjoy walking through the streets of the historic center, admiring its beautiful buildings, and visiting traditional markets to taste delicious local specialties. I know the Historic Center, Analco, Santuario, Santa Teresita, and Americana neighborhoods really well. I specialize in the history of ancient buildings, gastronomy, seasonal traditions, and religious history, and I promise to make learning about them as fun as it is fascinating.
I just spent a lot of time in the tha historical center, so my mom used to ask me, "Something is different in downtown?"
What I enjoy most about my city is its perfect mix of everything: amazing food, lively nightlife, and easy access to mountains, beaches, and even the desert. I spend a lot of time in places like Chapultepec, Zapopan, and downtown, where every corner offers something new to discover. I love taking visitors to Tlaquepaque to explore its charming streets, meet friendly locals, and taste the best regional dishes. As someone who knows thousands of people and all the right spots, I can promise an unforgettable experience filled with great food, fun, and the true spirit of Guadalajara!
You’ll usually find me hanging out around Chapultepec or Chapalita, two of the city’s liveliest neighborhoods, trying out new pizza spots or catching up with friends over a drink. I’ve literally traveled every line of the subway, so if there’s a hidden gem worth finding, chances are I’ve already been there (probably with a slice in hand). I enjoy sharing my favorite local hangouts, from chill cafes to buzzing night spots, and showing guests the fun, flavorful side of Guadalajara that only a true pizza-loving local can reveal.
What I love most about Guadalajara is the endless variety of food and the strong traditions that make the city so special. I love going out to eat tortas ahogadas, one of my favorite local dishes, and visiting the markets to shop for fresh ingredients. I know the Centro, Centro de Zapopan, Ajijic, and San Juan de Dios neighborhoods really well. I consider myself an expert in gastronomical experiences and local history, and I always enjoy showing others how food and culture come together to tell the story of Guadalajara in the most delicious way possible.
What I enjoy most about Guadalajara is the unique mix of modern energy and old-fashioned charm everywhere you go. The music, the architecture, and the rich history always make the city feel special. I love going out with friends to places with beautiful views and staying active by hiking or trailing around the area. I know Zapopan very well since it is one of the most beautiful parts of the city, and I have lived in many different neighborhoods, so I really know my way around. I always know great places to eat, drink, and enjoy a fun time. I also know the fastest routes when traffic gets slow, so guests can relax and enjoy discovering Guadalajara with me.
What I enjoy most about Guadalajara is its people and culture. Everyone is friendly, easy going, and always ready to have a good time. There is always something happening here, from cultural events to concerts that bring the city to life. I love going to Chivas games and playing baseball with my team Vielca in the Zapopan league. When I am not on the field, I enjoy hiking to catch amazing views of the city and its surrounding nature. I know Zapopan and Guadalajara very well, and I am always happy to help others discover great spots and hidden gems. Whether it is sports, nature, or local life, I love helping guests experience the real Guadalajara.
I love hot souce
I’m an adventurous local host who loves sharing the vibrant life of Guadalajara with visitors. What excites me most about the city is its diversity, where you can experience flavors from across Mexico and South America, join all kinds of groups, and try new things every day. I love exploring both the city and the surrounding areas, skating with different communities, and meeting new people while learning new skills. I know neighborhoods like Tlaquepaque, Santuario, Tonalá, and Zapopan very well. Whether you are looking for the best places to eat and drink, dance, skate, practice silks, swim, box, ride horses, or learn a new language, I can help you make it happen!
I enjoy skating through the streets, visiting museums, and attending cultural events while exploring the variety of spots and styles the city has to offer. I know Tlaquepaque and Downtown neighborhoods very well and love helping guests discover fun activities, the best places to eat for any budget, and the easiest ways to get around. Guadalajara is full of life, and I’m excited to show you everything that makes it such a special place.
I love circus! My dream is to become circus performer someday :)
Here is what our guests say about our hosts and creating memories
He was knowledgeable, but never overbearing. Eager to learn as much as he was to teach. Created a very positive interaction.
Adriana was an amazing host. Thank you for sharing your knowledge about Mexico City with me and showing me all these little gems.
If you are staying in Reforma or Polanco I would highly recommend this tour to see another neighborhood in this city. Nic was a fantastic guide. He covered the culture, architecture, history, and the food scene. It was a lovely two hour walk around mostly Roma and he gave me lots of recommendations on things to try later. It was a wonderful experience and I grabbed lunch locally before I left afterwards. Thanks so much, Nic!
Adriana is a GEM! She completely customized the food tour for our location, preferences, and restrictions, and took care of everything from there. She had multiple options available at all times and did a great job of taking us to hidden finds and local favorites. We’ve been looking to the food tour for a long time and Adriana really delivered! In addition to being knowledgeable she is a wonderfully warm person who was a joy to chat with and spend the evening with. She’s the best and really kicked off our vacation in the perfect way! Thanks Adriana :)
Lando was absolutely incredible! He truly brought the history of the ancient city alive. He went above and beyond to ensure we were engaged and learning while having a great time. He volunteered to take SO many pictures and videos, which are all really special to look back on. Sometimes it’s tough to get pictures of the two of you when traveling as a couple, so it was very considerate of Lando to make sure we had all we could want. He ended up recommending a taco place that was one of our favorites of the trip, and picked us up and dropped us off exactly where needed. His knowledge is off the charts and really filled in the gaps. Teotihuacan is a place where you really need a guide to get the most value, and Lando delivered and then some. Thank you!!
Claudia showed us hidden spots we wouldn’t have found on our own!
Ingrid, our guide, was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and resourceful on our tour. We loved every second of it!
A personalize tour of Mexico City. We are a family of 4 and Nic was very engaging to the teenagers in the group. We got an abridged history, we can only learn so much in an afternoon. It was wonderful.

This isn’t a traditional tour with a fixed script. It’s a fully personalized day shaped around your interests, whether it’s culture, history, neighborhoods, or hidden local spots. Your host is a knowledgeable local, more like a friend showing you their city. It’s flexible, one-on-one, and tailored entirely to you.
After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire where you can share your interests, travel style, and any must-see spots. Based on that, we’ll match you with a local host who’ll reach out to plan your personalized itinerary.
