I was born about 30 minutes away from Venice, I moved there when I was a teenager and started working in tourism.
Discover more about meWhen I was 22 I decided to leave and I came back when I was 32. I lived in Malaga ( Spain ) for some years, then Florence, then onboard cruise ships, then Malaga again, Berlin, and finally decided to come back to Venice and started my own business - I am a freelance tour leader since 2014 and I wouldn't live anywhere else now, I love my city and my job!
We had a lovely tour with Benedetta -- she took our requests seriously and put together a tour that perfectly aligned with our preferences. She obviously knows Venice well, having grown up here. She also struck the right balance of giving us lots of interesting information but not overwhelming us with commentary. We would recommend her highly.

Whether it’s a hidden café tucked away on a side street or a peaceful square where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere, Venice has plenty of surprises. I know this city like the back of my hand. From the winding alleys to the picturesque canals, Venice is a place that never gets old. Every neighborhood has its own unique character, and I love exploring them all, one hidden gem at a time. As a Venice guru, I can confidently say there’s nothing about this city that I don’t know. I’m passionate about sharing its secrets, so whether it’s history, art, or just the best places to get lost, I’m here to make your experience unforgettable. Let’s explore Venice together!
It was very refreshing to be in the hands of a well seasoned tour operator who not only knew his subject, but had personally lived his subject for well over 50 years. Roberto was able to share his personal family history, as a Venetian and the places here in his family lived, worked, shopped, and eight as only a local Venetian could
Show moreAmazing person to be around. Very friendly, very knowledgeable about the history and showed us the best spots ever!!
Show moreRoberto was great. Very experienced guide who really knew his subject matter, especially the history and culture of the city he had grown up and lived most of his life in. I spent two weeks in Italy and did daily tours and this was by far my best experience. Roberto provided a personal element to the experience that was unique.
Show moreNever did a tour like this and didn’t know what to expect but was really happy we booked with Roberto. If I could have I would have traversed Venice with Roberto our whole time here. He was informative but it was clear he loves Venice and wants you to see it through a local Venetian eyes. Thank you for the additional advice on where to go off the beaten path.

Hello!
Discover more about meI lived and studied in the Venetian province since I was 7 years old, and the years spent here made me both love and know Venice. After graduating in History, it became a passion for me to share the stories, the myths, the curiosities, and the little-known facts behind the Venetian streets and monuments. Also, I want to make you discover the quiet parts and the hidden gems in the Venetian labyrinth, away from the big crowds - personally, I love to explore the palaces where the aristocracy lived in the past. But in Venice, there's plenty of room for breaks and food, since I'll be happy to show you the best pastry shops, wine bars, and restaurants. As a guide, it's my mission to give you what an App can't: a mix of culture, art, local food, and stories at your pace, with no rush."
Hi, I’m Victoria!
Discover more about meI was born in one of the world’s most beautiful cities and eventually found my way to magical Venice, where I became a licensed tourist guide. I truly love what I do—meeting people from around the world, sharing the hidden corners of Venice, and bringing its history, art, and daily life to life through storytelling. I’ve traveled through Asia, America, and across Europe, and my background as a philologist means I have a deep love for literature, especially Russian and Italian classics. I even gave lectures in Zurich! With plenty of free time and a passion for culture, I’m always excited to show you around and help you see Venice through a local’s eyes.
It was an excellent tour, from the quieter north side to the bustling San Marco. Victoria’s knowledge of the city is excellent, from its fascinating history to arts, architecture, theatre to where movies were filmed. A great tour which enhanced our Venice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Hello, my name is Vanessa, I am an Accompagnatore Turistico in the beautiful city of Venice.
Discover more about meI enjoy walking through the city along the bridges, and narrow streets and just enjoying the sights and beauty around me. If you are looking for a day of shopping, some of the best bar recommendations, or restaurants that will give you an authentic taste of Venice, I am your host. We can also explore small islands like Burano, Torcello, and Lido. Also, we can visit the surrounding areas of Padua Treviso, Stra, and Verona.
in Venice!
Discover more about meI was born and raised in the northern "Sestiere" (district) of Venice: Cannaregio. Since I was a child I've always been curious about different countries and cultures and I enjoyed studying foreign languages, so I chose to graduate in Literature and Foreign Languages and get a master's degree in Economics of Tourism, Arts and Foreign Languages at the University of Venice - Ca' Foscari. Meanwhile, I had the chance to travel as well: I visited the US and most of the European capitals, but I also spent some weeks in the UK, France, Spain, and Russia to study. My love for my hometown, Venice, has never decreased over the years though so I decided to start studying to become a tour guide. My "mission" is to show travelers my city from a local's perspective, sharing my passion and enthusiasm for my hometown with them, as only a local could do. This is why most of my tours are "off-the-beaten-track". I think that to see the real side of Venice it's necessary to walk far away from the crowds and from the touristy sites and walk through charming and quiet neighborhoods, looking for the hidden corners and peaceful streets of the city, where you can still feel the authenticity and the magic of this place. I love to focus also on local traditions, habits, and lifestyles today and in the past, to let you see how it feels like to be a local in Venice! I'd like travelers to feel at home here as if they were simply having a relaxing walk with a longtime Venetian friend!
Hi, I'm Emiliano, your adventurous local host in Venice.
Discover more about meI'm passionate about sharing the beauty and history of this incredible city. Venice's architecture, especially the stunning works of Palladio, never ceases to amaze me. I also have a deep love for the local culture, particularly the food, wine, and cheese that define this region. As a chef, food and wine are essential parts of my life, and I enjoy exploring and sharing these culinary delights with others. When I'm not showing guests the highlights of Vicenza and Verona, I love uncovering the hidden stories and curiosities that make Venice so unique. Whether it's discovering a new dish or simply enjoying a walk through the Downtown area or my neighborhood in Center East, I always find something new to appreciate. I’m excited to share my insights and make your visit truly memorable.
Hi, I’m Simo - born and raised in Venice, and still in love with its magic.
Discover more about meWhat I enjoy most is sharing the stories, flavours, and secrets that bring this city to life. I know the Cannaregio, San Marco, and Rialto areas like the back of my hand, from the hidden corners to the legendary landmarks. I grew up walking these streets and hearing tales passed down through generations - and I’m always happy to share them. Whether we’re enjoying a quiet evening stroll, hopping on a boat, or tasting something delicious, I’ll help you see Venice through a local’s eyes.

Yes! You can blend food, culture, history, neighborhoods, or even a bit of nightlife if time allows. Just share your interests in the questionnaire, and your host will build the day around them.
