I’m Loan, your friendly and positive local host in Hoi An, excited to share the charm of this beautiful town with you. I love wandering through the streets of the Old Town, marveling at the mix of Japanese, Chinese, and French cultures that make Hoi An so unique. Shopping for custom-made clothes is one of my favorite things, especially when I visit tailor shops that impress me with their speed and craftsmanship. I also enjoy the local bakeries and coffee spots, as well as the peaceful Hoi An beach and Coconut Village neighborhoods. Whether we’re running along the shore or exploring hidden gems, I’ll make sure you experience the heart of Hoi An with warmth and a smile.
I love biking through quiet rice fields, sipping tea cocktails in garden cafés, and wandering the lantern-lit alleys of the Ancient Town. Every dish - like crispy Cao Lau or fresh spring rolls - feels like a warm memory shared. I know places like Thanh Ha Pottery Village and Tra Que Vegetable Village well, and I enjoy connecting guests with local boatmen and chefs for unforgettable experiences, like sunset cruises or seafood BBQs. To me, Hoi An isn’t just a destination - it’s a feeling, and I’d love to share it with you.
Hoi An is not just where I live - it’s part of who I am. I grew up with the food that still inspires me every day, and I love how every corner of the old town tells a story, with sunsets that look like paintings. I enjoy cycling through rice fields, strolling the lantern-lit streets, and exploring hidden gems while keeping things eco-friendly. As your host, I’ll welcome you like a friend and share the history, traditions, and warm-hearted spirit that make this place so special. From the ancient town to coconut villages, from traditional crafts to local dishes, I’ll connect you with the real Hoi An - its culture, its people, and its soul - for an experience that feels both authentic and unforgettable.
What I love most about Hoi An is sharing its hidden corners, from the villages where locals craft handmade products to the quiet alleys filled with stories waiting to be told. Whether we’re walking or cycling, I’ll connect you with the history of this beautiful town, bringing the past to life through storytelling and a touch of humor. I enjoy cooking and sharing the flavors of Vietnam, helping you understand not just what we eat, but how we think about our food. From basket boat rides to making noodles or simply exploring Da Nang and Hoi An’s neighborhoods, I’ll guide you to the heart of local life - where culture, history, and everyday moments come together for an unforgettable experience.
What I love most about this city is its serene corners and the thoughtful way it welcomes visitors while keeping its traditions alive. I’m happiest wandering the streets in search of the perfect bowl of cao lầu or discovering quiet waterfalls just beyond the city. Hoi An’s neighborhoods and nearby towns are full of surprises, and I love sharing both the well-known spots and hidden gems that give the city its true flavor. Whether it’s tasting local delicacies, exploring cultural treasures, or finding peaceful escapes in nature, I’ll show you Hoi An in a way that’s lively, memorable, and uniquely yours.
What I adore most about my hometown is its warm-hearted people, beautiful scenery, and the wonderful mix of cultures that makes it so unique. You’ll often find me exploring on my motorbike, breathing in the scent of the rice fields, or relaxing with a good book in one of Hoi An’s lovely cafés. I also know the nearby cities of Da Nang and Hue well, perfect for travelers who want to see more of central Vietnam. I always treat my guests with honesty and care and genuine experiences that respect both the people and the environment.
Here is what our guests say about our hosts and creating memories
Karen was knowledgeable, friendly , and we had excellent communication ahead of the tour . An itinerary was agreed , and she included suggestions for the rest of our stay . She has ensured that our stay in Hong Kong will be informative and enjoyable . Thank you !
David was very informative and friendly. He helped me see parts of Hoi An I otherwise would not have as we went on a bike tour as well which was greatly appreciated as it got me into the real Hanoi including rice paddies and local areas. Definitely recommend if you want an experience personalised to your likes!
David curated a wonderful tour for me, he listened to what I wanted and made it happen! Really worthwhile.
I was in Hoi An right after Tet and Cam actually suggested pushing back our tour as much as possible so that more places would be back open. I'm so glad he did since I think I would have missed out on a lot of great food otherwise. Cam was so fun to be around and we covered a lot of ground in Hoi An. He introduced me to so many foods and we were even able to skip a very long line at one of the spots we ate at so I felt like a VIP. We had a fantastic time walking around and I got to learn a lot about Hoi An and Vietnamese culture. I left both very stuffed and with a lot of new knowledge on Vietnam. It was a wonderful way to end my time in Hoi An. Cam even gifted me a little packet for new year that was such a special touch.
Spending a half day with Hillary was an awesome introduction to both Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam as a whole. We were there the day before Tet so a lot of things in the city were closed or not operating as usual, but Hillary was still able to put together an awesome itinerary for me and my friend. The breakfast spot she took us to was something I'll be talking about for a long, long time. We wandered through some of the main parts of the city and even ended up seeing a few lion dances. She gave us great recommendations for silk shops and other restaurants that we absolutely took advantage of during our time there! Hillary was so fun to be around, so knowledgeable, and took great photos of us. We didn't feel like we were missing out at all even though many parts of the city were quiet for the holiday. We ended the day with incredible egg cream coffees and could have easily spent the rest of the day hanging out with her. Cannot recommend booking a tour with Hillary enough.
Great!
Great tour!
Our Tourist guide was so nice and knew so many interesting things to tell us. We felt really confident with Jade - it was very interesting and she showed us the secrets of Hoi An. We can highly recommend her as tourist guide ❤️

This isn’t a traditional tour with a fixed script. It’s a fully personalized day shaped around your interests, whether it’s culture, history, neighborhoods, or hidden local spots. Your host is a knowledgeable local, more like a friend showing you their city. It’s flexible, one-on-one, and tailored entirely to you.
After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire where you can share your interests, travel style, and any must-see spots. Based on that, we’ll match you with a local host who’ll reach out to plan your personalized itinerary.
Yes! You can blend food, culture, history, neighborhoods, or even a bit of nightlife if time allows. Just share your interests in the questionnaire, and your host will build the day around them.
