I love Montpellier for its vibrant arts scene, charming streets of the historical city center, and the botanical garden where nature and culture meet. Cafés and terraces are my favorite spots to soak up the energy of locals and enjoy the city’s lively public spaces. I enjoy attending live performances and exhibitions, wandering through the botanical garden, and discovering new culinary experiences. I know neighborhoods like the historical center, Arceaux, Figuerolles, and Gares really well and I love sharing Montpellier’s art, live performance and food scenes with visitors, helping them experience the city’s creativity, energy and local charm.
I love Montpellier for its perfect mix of small-city charm, nearby nature, and easy access to the beach. The best way to enjoy it is on foot, wandering its streets and soaking in the local vibe. I spend my days exploring the city, relaxing in coffee shops, and meeting new people - there’s always a story to discover! I know Downtown, Cévennes, Croix d’Argent, Près-d’Arène, and Port Marianne like the back of my hand. Whether it’s city tours, day trips, museums, or finding the best restaurants and bars, I’m excited to share Montpellier’s hidden gems and favorite spots with you.
I’m drawn to the underground scene, where music, art, and people from all cultures come together to celebrate freedom and creativity. Whether I’m raving in hidden clubs, sipping wine at the best tasting spots (I worked in wine tourism, so I know the good ones!), or wandering through countryside villages, I’m always discovering new sides of this vibrant city. From the beaches and gourmand gems to the boutiques of Beaux-Arts, Saint Roch, and Port Marianne, I’ll show you the Montpellier I know best - authentic, colorful, and unforgettable. I also love connecting people, so don’t be surprised if you leave with new local friends too.
If you’re looking to dive into Montpellier’s party culture—festivals, mainstream clubs, or the underground scene—you’ve come to the right person (me).
Montpellier's mix of history, culture, and its surrounding nature make it a truly inspiring place to live and explore. You’ll often find me strolling through the city center, admiring the beauty of its churches or writing in an outdoor café. I always find something new in familiar streets. I know really well neighborhoods like l’Écusson, Beaux-Arts, and Aiguelongue, and I enjoy sharing both their charm and hidden gems. With a passion for art, history, architecture and food, I can guide you through Montpellier’s rich culinary scene while also uncovering the fascinating stories behind its buildings. I’d love to show you the city in a way that feels personal, welcoming, and full of discoveries especially tailored for you
I was a tour guide before and have kept many of my guests as friends to this day.
For me, Montpellier is a place where past and present flow together effortlessly; I often grab a book and spend hours in its plazas, parks, or sunny terraces, just soaking it all in. I know neighborhoods like L'Écusson, St. Roch, Antigone, Beaux Arts, and more inside out, and I enjoy sharing both their stories and hidden gems. Whether it’s exploring history, diving into the city’s lively music and festival scene, discovering unique art galleries, or tasting your way through its best food spots, I’ll make sure your time here feels like experiencing Montpellier through the eyes of a friend.
I adore sitting in hidden squares with a coffee, soaking up the atmosphere or wandering through the narrow streets of the historic center, always stumbling upon a new café or quirky little shop. When I need some calm, you’ll find me by the Lez or at Parc Montcalm, enjoying a slower pace. I know neighborhoods like Antigone, Port Marianne, and Boutonnet really well, and I’m especially passionate about helping newcomers – from navigating student life and sorting out admin to finding the best local eats or figuring out public transport. With me, you’ll discover Montpellier in a way that’s practical, fun, and full of personality.
I can speak French, English, and Chinese… but I also have the special skill of recognizing the sound of someone secretly opening a cookie package!!
I love showing visitors the best of Montpellier, from wandering the historical center and charming streets of Arceaux to exploring the riverside at Rives du Lez or the lively neighborhoods of Beaux-Arts and Celleneuve. I’m passionate about discovering new restaurants and bars and I know all the spots where you can enjoy the city’s flavors, drinks, and local history. What I love most is that you can experience the beach, river, and even nearby mountains all in one day! With curiosity, humor and a friendly perspective, I’m here to make Montpellier unforgettable for every visitor.
If you booking a tour with me on tuesday and wednesday until 1pm i can make you discovery the best food markey of the city , it will be delicious
Here is what our guests say about our hosts and creating memories
We had a great experience with David on our walking tour. He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic about history of Paris.
Our time with Pascal was wonderful (Sept 15 16.00 – 18.00 in Paris). His English is excellent! His knowledge of the city of Paris phenomenal. I asked him to help us navigate the metro and he did that as well. We used the public transportation system the entire time (except for the strike on Sept 18) we were there. Pascal was funny, engaging, considerate and a joy to be with. This was the BEST way to start our vacation in Paris!!! Thank You Pascal!!!!
Truly a great experience. We only had one day in Paris and our guide, Hristo, was fabulous. Before we arrived he communicated with us via email and proposed different itineraries based on what we wanted to see. He met us at the train station took us on our planned itinerary telling us the history and stories behind the sights and added a few surprises that were delightful. At the end he delivered us back to the station safely. It was a fabulous experience that I highly recommend.
Hristo was great!! He gave us a wonderful tour and I would highly recommend City Unscripted as a great way to learn about cities and their cultures.

Emma was a great guide, she liased with us before hand. We explained what we wanted and she delivered. She was extremely personable.
Pascal is the very BEST! He met us at our hotel. I asked him to teach us the metro, which he did!!! He took us to St. Germain and we walked and explored the surrounding area. He showed us hidden court yards and back streets. He took us in and around the art district, to the place Ben Franklin started writing the constitution. He spoke English very well. Had a great understanding of the rich culture and history of the area we were in. Thank You so much Pascal!!

This isn’t a traditional tour with a fixed script. It’s a fully personalized day shaped around your interests, whether it’s culture, history, neighborhoods, or hidden local spots. Your host is a knowledgeable local, more like a friend showing you their city. It’s flexible, one-on-one, and tailored entirely to you.
After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire where you can share your interests, travel style, and any must-see spots. Based on that, we’ll match you with a local host who’ll reach out to plan your personalized itinerary.
