Green was a phenomenal tour guide. He was knowledgeable and provided a unified overview of Taiwan with each stop. He didn't just take me around the city but more importantly taught me how to use the trains to get around and oriented me to the city as a whole so that I could feel confident and prepared to enjoy the rest of my trip in Taipei. Green was responsive from the start and continually attuned to our family’s needs. I had specific requests about tour venues and start times, and he emailed with every change. On the day of, he even sent a selfie so we could spot him easily. When a situation with our teenager delayed us, he was gracious and reassuring. After we arrived (short one teenager), he shared his own experience, put us at ease, and adjusted the itinerary to fit our priorities. His history and cultural context at the National Palace Museum and Longshan Temple hit the perfect balance—deep enough for my history-buff husband, engaging enough for both teens. Shilin Night Market was the best: top hits, great food, efficient pacing, and we still made it back for massages. What a great day!

This was a last minute decision on my part & I’m glad I did it. I was in Taipei for work & only had a few hours to spare before I flew out. I was matched with a lovely local girl called Charlotte. I loved how the walk was tailored to my interests. Everywhere she took me it was things I was interested in. Charlotte is a really friendly personable girl, so easy to ask her questions & have a great conversation with her, I really appreciated her local knowledge but also her bright bubbly personality. Such a great way to see a city being guided by a local, I thoroughly recommend it!

Alice was an excellent guide, taking us through the Night Market and letting us sample the many foods …She gave explanations of the many different food options!

My tour guide Alice was amazing in organizing everything we could do in three hours, and she was also cognizant of me getting to the airport for my flight. We didn’t get to do the whole tour because we had short time and our flight was delayed. Daphne did a great job organizing everything and the tour was really nice. We toured a temple, ate in the market, and walked around the Taipei 101 building. Would recommend for someone with more time to spare since the ride to the airport is an hour.

It was our fist time and first day in Taiwan, and we got a best experience with a beautiful, kind and extremely nice guide Daphne.everything was easy - meeting point, transportation around and so on. We were surprised how much we could see during the tour. We had a great experience using City Unscripted with Dragon as our guide for a night market tour. We would 100% highly recommend dragon/ Peining Lung for this Private walking tour. She is friendly, well spoken, very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour.… We had such a great time she took us on the trains metro & bus around the city and was all ways on hand showing us how to understand the metro lines. Winnie showed us Lin family grounds and home. It was something very unusual and a site we would never have discovered on our own. The Longshan Temple gave us insight into religious life. Lunch was a great treat. Very filling and delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a city tour in Taipei, and it exceeded all my expectations. Winnie, my tour host was well-organized, introducing me to a perfect blend of cultural immersion, historical insight, traditional foods and shopping. In the 5 hours we managed to comfortably see Lin A Taipei historical house, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, changing of the guards followed by the beautiful Longshan Temple. Winnie provided a terrific overview of Taipei's charm in the short time I had available. Highly recommended this tour!

Vila provided excellent insights into life in Taipei. She was amazing! The historical and cultural experiences were the highlight of our visit to Taiwan. She even helped us navigate Uber in Chinese and placed an order for us at a local Taiwanese restaurant. We truly felt like we got a taste of what it would be like to be a local. Laid back tour guide that tailored to our needs. I would recommend him to others for a general sense of Taipei (which is what I was looking for) however I would look elsewhere for the nitty gritty detail.

Roro had honest answers for every question, including what sights to skip with a limited amount of time.

The travel time between destinations took up a lot of time but the experience itself was amazing! We made the most with the time we had and the tour guide gave us great insights with each destination and time to explore and go souvenir shopping. Cindy was a great host! We had a very nice tour with her and saw many locations. She is also great to talk to and gave us a lot of her perspective on her life in Taiwan.

This tour was very memorable because my guide, Cindy, is extremely knowledgeable not only about Taipei but about Taiwan as a whole. Her prodigious grasp of history and of current events in Taiwan provided a wonderful backdrop to the sites and places that we visited. She brought me not only to attractions frequented by tourists but also to other interesting, less-crowded places. I highly recommend this tour and suggest that you ask for Cindy as your guide.

Our guide, Cindy, was excellent! She knew all of the places to go! It was Chinese New Year’s Eve, and though some places closed early, she made the best of it! She is most knowledgable about the city, night market, and various foods. Cindy made sure that each of us had something we would like.

Ask for Ping-Hui! I was visiting Taipei for the first time and only had a limited window for sightseeing. Ping-Hui met me at my hotel and made sure that I agreed with itinerary. She also went the extra mile to accommodate my interests and requests.

David, my host, was a great communicator. He contacted me frequently to ensure I had everything I needed to find the meetup point and to confirm I knew how to get back. He is very knowledgeable about the City of Taipei and its culture. We spent a considerable amount of time at the Longshan Buddhist Temple. It was enlightening and an amazing experience. I have so much more understanding of it. The city is culturally rich and vibrant. I highly recommend David if you would like an inside look!

David was very friendly and explained everything in detail about the culture and the city. He went out of the way to make me and my wife see hidden gems which was not in the walking tour. Overall it was fun and we are glad we took this tour!

Yui was my City Unscripted tour guide in Taipei. She was a great listener, asked spot-on questions, and shared heaps of info. She made sure the tour was tailored just for me, which was tops. Yui chatted about the local food, how it's made, and the culture here in Taipei. She really got what I was after and made the tour exactly what I wanted. Yui gave me some bonza ideas for other things to do in Taipei, based on what she knew I was keen on. At the end, she took me to the train station and gave me clear directions to get back to my hotel – no worries there! I had a very good time with Yui, and I'm stoked I chose her as my guide. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch guide in Taipei.
