Our night market food tour with Green was a highlight of our trip to Taipei! He was accommodating of our wishes, and extremely knowledgeable. He gave us tremendous insights into Taiwanese culture. A tour like this would not have been possible on our own. We did not see another Western tourist during the entire evening! The food was interesting, and delicious. Highly recommended!

I had very little time in Taipei, and my host understood what I wanted to see, curating my itinerary to fit all the important things.

Not only did we explore a night market, but we visited a couple of Taoist temples and explained the rituals and belief systems associated with them. Also, she was flexible about the itinerary; she did not make me repeat a market I had already seen.

We had a great time trying new foods and leaving about Taiwan from our guide Lin. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and took our lead on the pace for the tour. We even toured a temple nearby which was an added bonus.

My tour guide Alice was amazing in organizing everything we could do in three hours, and she was also cognizant of me getting to the airport for my flight. I saw historic sights, ate amazing breakfast and lunch. She was such a kind and informative guide! I truly enjoyed my experience my last day in Taipei.

Alice was very communicative first the start regarding what my interest could be and how she would be planning the time we had together. She did everything in her ability to make this tour include everything that I wanted to see and eat! She was amazing and made my last day in Taipei really fun and amazing!

If you want to eat like a local this tour is a great opportunity. My guide Alice did an excellent job walking me through the Night Markets and showing me the foods that Taiwanese people love. Although there are some outlandish options that might test a westerner, there are also plenty of tamer options as well. We even got lucky and scored some fresh Chinese Bayberries which have a very short season.

Daphne was a great guide! She explained concepts and customs along with historical facts to make the four hours fly by. It was a very interesting and educational experience.

We didn’t get to do the whole tour because we had short time and our flight was delayed. Daphne did a great job organizing everything and the tour was really nice. We toured a temple, ate in the market, and walked around the Taipei 101 building. Would recommend for someone with more time to spare since the ride to the airport is an hour.

It was our fist time and first day in Taiwan, and we got a best experience with a beautiful, kind and extremely nice guide Daphne.everything was easy - meeting point, transportation around and so on. We were surprised how much we could see during the tour. We had a great experience using City Unscripted with Dragon as our guide for a night market tour. Winnie showed us Lin family grounds and home. It was something very unusual and a site we would never have discovered on our own. The Longshan Temple gave us insight into religious life. Lunch was a great treat. Very filling and delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a city tour in Taipei, and it exceeded all my expectations. Winnie, my tour host was well-organized, introducing me to a perfect blend of cultural immersion, historical insight, traditional foods and shopping. In the 5 hours we managed to comfortably see Lin A Taipei historical house, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, changing of the guards followed by the beautiful Longshan Temple. Winnie provided a terrific overview of Taipei's charm in the short time I had available. Highly recommended this tour!

Had an amazing time with Vila on my layover tour in Taipei! Vila picked me up from the airport and drove me around the city showing me a local fish market and outdoor food market, the famous Dihua street, and the beautiful Chiang Kai-shek memorial. We tried yummy treats all around and she showed me some wonderful spots to pick up some tea and a few other little souvenirs. She did a wonderful job customizing our few hours to what was important to me and shared so much about her culture and the history of Taiwan. I would definitely recommend booking a tour if you have a long layover rather than just sitting it out in the airport.

Laid back tour guide that tailored to our needs. I would recommend him to others for a general sense of Taipei (which is what I was looking for) however I would look elsewhere for the nitty gritty detail.

This tour was very memorable because my guide, Cindy, is extremely knowledgeable not only about Taipei but about Taiwan as a whole. Her prodigious grasp of history and of current events in Taiwan provided a wonderful backdrop to the sites and places that we visited. Our guide, Cindy, was excellent! She knew all of the places to go! It was Chinese New Year’s Eve, and though some places closed early, she made the best of it! She is most knowledgable about the city, night market, and various foods. Cindy made sure that each of us had something we would like.

Ask for Ping-Hui! I was visiting Taipei for the first time and only had a limited window for sightseeing. Ping-Hui met me at my hotel and made sure that I agreed with itinerary. She also went the extra mile to accommodate my interests and requests.

Yui was my City Unscripted tour guide in Taipei. She was a great listener, asked spot-on questions, and shared heaps of info. She made sure the tour was tailored just for me, which was tops. Yui chatted about the local food, how it's made, and the culture here in Taipei. She really got what I was after and made the tour exactly what I wanted. Yui gave me some bonza ideas for other things to do in Taipei, based on what she knew I was keen on. At the end, she took me to the train station and gave me clear directions to get back to my hotel – no worries there! I had a very good time with Yui, and I'm stoked I chose her as my guide.
