Elena was very engaging, patient and knowledgeable

Mercury met us in our hotel. He sat with us as we finished a quick lunch as our flight had delayed. He confirmed what we wanted to see and gave us a brief history lesson on Athens. He was great and very patient with our walking pace as it was very very hot. I was impressed that he was very familiar with the email I sent weeks before our our arrival highlighting our interests. He more than exceeded our expectations. He has three university degrees and answered a whole range questions that added understanding of Athens and Greek culture. Couldn't recommend him more highly.

Excellent we visited the whole city, nice stories and a lot to learn from George about the Greek culture.

We had been before and so had already ‘done’ the usual tours. We asked to see the more unusual sites.

George was the most warm and engaging guide. It felt like we were meeting up with an old friend who had agreed to take us around the city. George’s knowledge of Athens was wonderful and we learnt so much. A true highlight of the trip.

We spent two hours in the evening with Michaël. Michaël was a knowledgeable and personable guide. He showed us parts of the city that we didn't know yet and told us interesting and exciting stories about them. Since he is a local, Michaël has insights into politics and society that would otherwise remain unfamiliar to you as a foreign traveler. This made the tour so special and worthwhile. Our interests and wishes were addressed in detail. It was an all-around successful experience that will be remembered for a long time. Highly recommended!
