Your curious local who loves sharing Quito’s charm - from its colonial churches and Gothic cathedrals to the breathtaking views from El Panecillo or the Teleférico. I’m a foodie at heart, so whether you’re after street eats at hidden huecas or fine dining with a view, I’ll take you to the best spots in the city. I’ve biked through Parque Metropolitano at nearly 3,000m, explored colorful food markets, and even crafted my own ice creams and cheesecakes from local fruits. I’ll show you where to snap the best photos of Cotopaxi on a clear morning, feel the unique energy of Rumichu’s Inca ruins, or even discover quirky gems like Quito’s famous $10 dental deep clean. From the “Mitad del Mundo” where the hemispheres meet to the lively streets of the historic downtown at sunset, I know Quito’s stories, flavors, and secrets - and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Here is what our guests say about our hosts and creating memories
Had an amazing tour last week with Isabel—truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. She reached out in advance to understand exactly what I was looking for and came fully prepared, tailoring the entire experience to my interests. What really made the tour stand out was her depth of knowledge. She shared so many tips and fascinating facts that you wouldn’t find in a typical guidebook, making everything feel unique and personal. She also went the extra mile with a wonderful surprise: we had the opportunity to go up the clock tower, enjoy an incredible view of Plaza de Armas, and learn about the history behind the clock—such a special and memorable moment. The tour was a perfect mix of history and experiences—we visited museums, rode the Teleférico, and ended the day tasting one of Chile’s most iconic drinks, Mote con huesillo! Highly recommend Isabel if you’re looking for a thoughtful, personalized, and truly memorable tour.
Gabi was absolutely phenomenal—both as a guide and as a person. From the very beginning, she was engaging, communicative, and exceptionally knowledgeable, providing thoughtful context and rich detail that truly brought the city to life. What stood out most was her ability to balance professionalism with genuine warmth—she was personable, humble, and deeply attentive to our interests, tailoring the experience in a way that felt both intentional and authentic. As first-time visitors, we greatly appreciated how she guided us seamlessly through the city, not only highlighting key sights and sounds but also offering meaningful recommendations that enhanced our overall experience. Her passion for what she does was evident throughout, and it made the tour both memorable and impactful. Gabi was truly a delight, and it is clear that City Unscripted is fortunate to have her as part of their team.
Maria did a wonderful job on our foodie tour of Buenos Aries
Nayla was a very engaging guide with good English language skills.
Mateo did a great job. The city is a gem, and he showed us many beautiful spots. It was also interesting to learn from him about the history of the places, the city's notable figures, and its colonial history.
Fantastic tour of Santiago
Quito has a beautiful historic center. I think a 2-hour tour is enough if you don't plan to go inside every church. Our tour guide Pamela was very knowledgeable, and we could see how she loves her city and the culture.
Pamela spoke excellent English and gave us a very good customized tour of the sights of the historic centre of Quito. We tried a few local foods and were able to buy some local handcrafts. The tour was very flexible and adaptable to what we wanted to see. And we really enjoyed chatting to Pamela about Ecuador and life here.

This isn’t a traditional tour with a fixed script. It’s a fully personalized day shaped around your interests, whether it’s culture, history, neighborhoods, or hidden local spots. Your host is a knowledgeable local, more like a friend showing you their city. It’s flexible, one-on-one, and tailored entirely to you.
After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire where you can share your interests, travel style, and any must-see spots. Based on that, we’ll match you with a local host who’ll reach out to plan your personalized itinerary.
