I had a late flight so opted to do an 8 hour personalised tour . After an initial perfunctory questionnaire on likes and dislikes, I was advised that my guide would be Akemi. She emailed me with more in depth questions about what I would like to do and whether I was happy to use public transport and walk ( which I was) or use taxis at extra cost I replied , advising what I had already done and that I was overloaded on temples and shrines, but would like to know more about sake , visit a supermarket, Chinatown and the Port area , and possibly a a little shopping and if time allowed ( it didnt) visit an onsen. She took all my suggestions on board and came up with an outlined itinerary We visited three sake breweries and some tasting, then ticked off the remainder of my itinerary. The day flew by, everything was adaptable, any food or coffee break requests were allowed and I felt that I had discovered much more about everyday life in Japan rather than just visiting tourist sites. Akemi was charming , engaging, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and friendly and we chatted about many aspects of life in Japan , from the economy, the education system, weddings, what the state funded and what it didn’t, food and drink, wages , taxation, housing , care homes, assisted dying and many other topics. Her insights into life in Kobe and Japan more generally was the highlight of the day. If I could give her more than five stars I would. Outstanding

Isaac's walking tour of Roma and Condesa districts in Mexico City was excellent. It was exactly what I had in mind, a pleasant walk with extremely interesting explanations of the architecture and the history fo the districts and the city itself. Highly recommended!

We had Shaan as our guide and we had the best time! My mother and I wanted to have a private tour of Gion to get the feel of the neighborhood we were staying in as well as learn more history about the area. Shaan did not disappoint! We had a great itinerary including visiting multiple areas where the Geiko/Maiko live and work (including seeing a few of them walking around!), we visited majestic temples, and we also got some great food and shopping recommendations from Shaan that we experienced in the days after our tour. Shaan was extremely knowledgeable about all things Kyoto! Experiencing Gion this way was the best decision!
