I absolutely love this city, especially the stunning ocean views from various spots, some of which are still off the beaten path for tourists. The rich culture shaped by Nagasaki's unique history fascinates me, and I'm always excited to share it with visitors. One of my favorite things to do is explore the city's historical sites, including those I'm still discovering myself. I also enjoy spending time in Peace Park and Glover Garden, two neighborhoods I know very well. The local food scene here is incredible, especially the fresh fish prepared in all sorts of delicious ways. As a Nagasaki expert, I can guide you to the best places for breathtaking views and introduce you to some fantastic local restaurants and pubs. Whether you're looking to enjoy a quiet moment by the ocean or dive into the city's vibrant culinary scene, I'm here to make your experience unforgettable. When I was 16 years old, I studied at a highschool in the USA as an exchange student for one year. More than 2, 000 students from all over the world were studying under the same program and it was a great experience for me to learn about the different cultures of the world through talking with them. I still like to travel and make trips several times a year, domestic and overseas, whenever I am not playing tennis. During my career, I welcomed numbers of important business clients and colleagues from overseas and it was my duty to show them the history, culture and beauty of port town Nagasaki, surrounded by beautiful nature. It was a great joy for me, just as guiding a good old friends from the distant who took trouble to visit Nagasaki to see me! Portown of Nagasaki has a very unique landscape, the port being surrounded by mountains. If you climb up one of the mountains, you can enjoy the spectacular view of the port where international cruise ship is docked almost everyday. Nagasaki is located at the west end of Japan and closest to Asian Continent (and to Europe also) and this again brought a very unique feature to Nagasaki's history as once "sole international trading port in Japan" during the national seclusion period. After retirement, I started to host international tourists. It is my great joy to talk with them and show them the beauty of my beloved hometown of Nagasaki.

Here is what our guests say about our hosts and creating memories
Our guide Karen, tailored the private tour to what we were interested in visiting and gave us the history and insight into each site. We learned a lot about Nagasaki from Karen. She was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the tour and our guide, Karen.
We had a wonderful smooth insight of Nagasaki. Our guide spoke very good English and really adjusted the itinary to our expectation
She was accommodating, very knowledgeable, took me to places I never would have found on my own. Such a fun day.
Moe was terrific from the moment I booked (she offered help the few days before my tour). She’s young, very accommodating (I had a bum knee), thoughtful, smart, and well traveled herself. I had already done the A-Bomb museum and peace park, although as a third generation survivor she also had a personal perspective and good information. I asked her to take me to her favorite places. What a day! So much fun. We walked, we took the tram, she helped me trip plan a piece that had been a mystery over lunch in a lovely restaurant at the stadium (the stadium complex is a not to be missed place!).
Imagine that you found out that a friend had moved to Nagasaki and invited you to stay the day with her. That was our experience with Moe. She was so charming and took us around the city just like I imagine a friend would. She knew about a charming local lunch spot, local legends, and stories about all the places we wanted to visit. We went to every place on our bucket list and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I highly recommend the tour guide and tour company. They were very accommodating and I never felt any doubt about our experience.
Sho made our visit so fun and engaging! We loved that he gave us an insider’s view of the city and even showed us his favourite grocery shops.
I would definitely recommend this tour. Senyo was very knowledgeable and adjusted the itinerary to meet our requirements. We were a little tight on time so took the tram and taxi to maximise the locations. Senyo was great and adjusted the pace so we could spend time and not feel rushed. He also recommended other things for us to do when the tour was over.
Great tour. Princess was a super guide.
