Key Differentiators:
Roberto was a fabulous tour guide! We planned a 3 hour custom tour. Communications prior to our tour date with him was very strong. He proactively reached out several times and was extremely responsive. He also met us at our hotel. We had previously told him (via WhatsApp) what we were interested in seeing to ensure that it was part of his plan. We went to historic downtown and from the moment we met him, we knew the experience would be terrific, especially with his anthropology background and expertise! We learned so much about Mexico’s past and present and Mexico City itself. We loved the fact that our conversation with him was engaging throughout, covering a wide range of topics spanning history. He took us to several notable buildings, landmark locations, historical sites, museums, church/cathedral, and of course city center. He was flexible, accommodating, super pleasant and extremely professional. In fact, we enjoyed our time so much together that after our tour was over, we invited him to join us for lunch! Would highly recommend this experience - and ask for Roberto!!!
Show moreAlex was a wonderful, entertaining, deeply knowledgeable, passionate guide. We hit the ground running and he was game with all our ideas. Didn’t even blink when we asked if we could take the subway instead of an Uber to get the full local experience. He showed us to several amazing street taco vendors as well - well off the tourist beaten path. We learned an incredible amount of Mexican history. Alex truly possess a wealth of information about culture, history, architecture, and food. We booked this last minute and really lucked out - it was so much fun and he had interesting commentary everywhere we went. DO NOT MISS THIS - it will lay the foundation of a well-informed trip to Mexico City that every conscientious tourist should partake in.
Show moreRoberto was great guide. We switched our itinerary because of celebrations in the central area to go through the Museum of archeology and Chapultepec park. He was super knowledgeable and loves the history and culture of Mexico. He also gave us great tips for the rest of our visit to Mexico City.
Show moreWe had the best tour with Nic. He read and understood our brief, and helped orientate us around the Historic Centre, introducing us to plenty of new history we’d not yet come across, and showing us sites we wouldn’t otherwise have accessed. We had such a lovely time chatting with him throughout tour we hardly noticed the 3 hours had flown by. Thank you so much Nic!
Show moreWe are so glad we booked this tour! Nic, our guide was so knowledgeable and easy going. It was a great way to learn about Centro Histórico and the Zocalo, which is where we were staying. He met us right at our hotel and immediately began the experience. He took us all around the area and pointed out many cool spots to eat, shop and visit. I would totally recommend Nic and this tour. Be sure to ask him about his Texas roots!
Show moreErnesto was an excellent guide. So knowledgeable and warm. Our tour was worth every penny!
Show moreNico was knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant and spoke excellent English.
Show moreI’ll be honest, I was a little bit nervous about my tour at first because despite booking it semi-last minute (about 10 days out), I thought I’d have more contact with my guide leading up to it but there wasn’t. We ended up texting the night before to confirm - which was fine - I just expected more pre-contact. However, that being said, Marisol put on a fantastic tour! This was probably one of the weirder/more unique tours as I asked to see the medical museum (which is definitely not one of the more common choices) and she added on going to see the oldest hospital in the Americas which was super cool. In the end, it was a fantastic tour and I was very glad to have her as my guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about architecture and medical things, as well as many of the artworks we saw since we visited the mural museum too. Overall, would recommend and very glad to have picked this tour! Just need to be a bit more proactive with the pre-communication.
