We got into the depths of Kowloon street markets and best examples of local food right away with Dennis! His culinary expertise led us to the best roast goose and shrimp-only wonton noodle soup! Dennis helped us bargain for dragon embossed leather note books and shared the views of Hong Kong from the new Kowloon arts district. Thank you for the quick immersion when we had limited time!!

We had a fabulous full day with Alfred. He met us at our hotel and showed the 3 of us all around Hong Kong over an 8 hour day. We took all kinds of transportation to maximize time, terrain and our experience. We got to see some hidden gems along with the newer architecture throughout the city. We also enjoyed a great lunch in a small quaint authentic spot. Alfred was a wealth of knowledge and his pace throughout the day was amazing. You don’t have to be concerned about being bored or going too slow. He will keep you moving throughout the city to see the best Hong Kong has to offer. Highly recommend!

After booking, you’ll complete a short questionnaire about your interests and travel style. We’ll match you with the best host who will tailor the experience to you. You'll have the opportunity to chat with them before the experience and agree on a plan.

Will I see famous landmarks or just hidden gems?

Both! Your host will take you to iconic sights if you want to see them, but they’ll also introduce you to places and stories most travelers miss.

Will I know my itinerary in advance?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to chat with your host directly and agree on a plan for the day. However, there’s always room for spontaneity and local surprises!

Are food and drinks included, or do I need to pay separately?

Unless stated otherwise, food and drinks are not included. Your host will take you to great spots where you can order what you like and pay as you go.

Do I need to pay for the host's food or drinks?

No, if you and your host decide to stop for food or drinks during your experience, you don’t need to cover your host’s expenses—your host will take care of their own.

Can we explore outside the main city?

Yes! If you’re interested in day trips or exploring beyond the city, let us know in the post-booking questionnaire, and your host will design an itinerary that takes you to incredible places off the usual tourist path.

Can I change the meeting place?

Yes, you will be in touch with your host before your experience, and you can agree on a different meeting point with them. Your host can meet you anywhere central that’s convenient.

Can my host meet me at my accommodation?
