Adam was knowledgeable and was attentive to our needs.

Had a guided tour with Adam Chay in Singapore. Thanks to efficient communication with Adam before the tour he was able to focus on the areas of the city that we weren’t otherwise visiting. This made for a very effective use of time as we took in Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam and other gems. Adam is extremely knowledgeable about the history and creation of Singapore and had answers for all of my questions during the 5 hours. You really get the sense of embedding yourself into the culture of Singapore and that’s surely why we all like travelling and visiting new places. Adam was first class, friendly, knowledgeable and good fun!

Adam took us in a 5 hour tour around Singapore. He is an extremely friendly and likeable guide who is highly knowledgeable about Singapore, its history and the details behind the key sites. These are hugely important factors to me, especially when travelling from another continent. Plenty of time is also allowed for rest, comfort breaks, food etc, creating a perfect environment for an excellent day of sightseeing.

This food tour was wonderful. Adam was a wonderful guide filled with knowledge about not only the food, but history and culture as well. We had great, authentic local food and learned so much! We left full and happy with our experience and enjoyed his company. Will definitely recommend him to anyone we know traveling to Singapore.

Fantastic tour with Jon. Highly recommend. He was entertaining and funny and had so many stories to teach us about the history of Singapore to go along with the delicious food. He listened to our dietary requests and showed us an amazing time.

Jon was amazing! He knew everything, answered all of our questions, showed us local culture and things we wouldn’t have normally seen, and kept us laughing the whole way!

Fantastic guide with lots of insights and knowledge of the history of the city. Went to Chinatown and saw murals, temples, shops and beautiful building. Did the fountain and took pictures and then the river views and history of the area. Also the Fullerton hotel.

Enjoyed our host's depth of local history and culture. Benefitted from his tips on hawker center etiquette; this made us feel more confident in our own explorations.

Jimmy is a very knowledgeable guide and taught us a lot about Singapore. He kept us in touch about our wishes and logistics. He guided us through several areas with the relevant history and informed us about economics, education politics, history, planning, health care, and developments in Singapore. We felt very fortunate to have him as our guide. The private tour enabled us to ask many questions and help us understa.nd so much about Singapore. He even took several photos of us on the tour and sent them tto us before we got back to our hotel. He made sure we got a taxi to return to our hotel. Definitely one of the best guides we have had. We did a private tour with Jimmy and he was excellent! Contacted us well in advance to discuss our preferences (which was no seafood-a tall order in Singapore) We had a variety of delicious foods at a large variety of establishments. Jimmy is incredibly well-informed on Singapore and his experience and intellect go well beyond food. Warning: Singapore is HOT and HUMID so wear cool clothes and drink lots of water! Loved this personalised tour with Stefan! Tasted some dishes I never would have tried if on our own. Highlight was the Tea tasting @Huaxia Tea House near Chinatown. Learnt a lot about tea and our hosts were extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Thanks for a great tour Stefan.

We recently went on a fantastic 3-hr food tour in Chinatown, Singapore , led by Joanne, a knowledgeable and engaging guide. The tour included visits to popular food centers such as Lau Pa Sat and Maxwell, where we sample a variety of local dishes like chicken,mutton and beef satay, Singapore chili crab, Hainanese chicken, rojak,popiah and pandan cake. Not only did we get to indulge in delicious food, but we also had the opportunity to explore cultural landmarks like the Thian Hock temple, Sri Mariamman HIndu Temple and the Buda Tooth Relic Temple. Our guide was not only informative but also accommodated our request, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to delve into diverse cuisines and learn more about Singapore’s rich heritage.

We loved the mix of food, history and architecture experience

ST was a kind and patient guide. Very knowledgeable about the food, temples, and hawker centers. Be prepared for communal settings without tables cleaned between diners. Plastic utensils can be a bit challenging/ineffective. While the food was good and varied, (Chinese, Indian, Malay, etc.), Bring your own napkins and wet wipes! Not provided.

ST was GREAT. He mixed in history and architecture as we walked and toured the area! He is quite knowledgeable about the food, the cultures and the history and mixed the tour well with delicious stops for local eats! A friendly and conversant guide. Well done ST!

Our tour guide Mark is great. Beautiful cultural tour of Chinatown. Learn and enjoy the rich history of the locals, what they do, eat, education, etc. we really learned a lot.

He is a generous and smart man. Through this tour, I can have a lot of knoledge regarding Singapore. And I had a comfortable time with him and a cup of tea etc.

I had an AMAZING food tour with Wahida! It wasn't « just » about food at all! Wahida had such a great knowledge of history, geography, culture, trends and recommendations,…... She is a 100% native with a lot of love for her country. Wahida is so nice, fun and yet very professional, can answer ALL your questions, open and all people in Singapore like her. You feel like a cool kid travelling around the city with her because she knows so many people and everybody is happy to see her. She also took really great photos and videos of me, I was so lucky. The communication and whole organisation of the tour was flawless too. She also customised the tour for me and my gluten intolerance, which was a FIRST CLASS service and she made me feel very understood! I was able to enjoy super tasty local gluten-free food, which is otherwise not so easy to find in the city. She really went above and beyond for me. So you see, it's much more than just a 'food tour.

Wahida is super nice and very knowledgeable. Our kids just loved her as we are. We had a great time with her.

Wahida was a wonderful guide. Lucky me! She was flexible with my interests and very knowledgeable of local cultures and history. It was a good balance of some touristy and not so typical tourist stops.

Our guide, Dr. Stan was wonderful! His knowledge, pacing and plan for us was spot on! We enjoyed the time we spent together & would recommend him for his enthusiasm and experience.

The tour was great. Lots of interesting food and interesting sights along the way. My guide , Stan, was exceptional. He quickly gauged what I was interested in and type of food I preferred. I'm especially grateful that he sympathized with my failings with the SG subway system, both explaining where I went wrong and arranging meet me at a different location. Highly recommended.

Although normally more than one guest are on the tour. I was fortunate enough to be the only guest which made for an amazing personalized solo experience. My guide was local informative, accommodating, and really brought a personalized touch to the experience. Highly recommend. Just know there’s a lot of food samplings so don’t eat a big breakfast.

He took time to check what we were interested in and was flexible when we wanted to see something specific.

Loved every minute of our Walking Tour

We sampled some of Singapore’s most delicious and authentic foods customized for our tastes (one omnivore, one pescatarian). Sharon really stood out for sharing the history of the Chinatown neighborhood, including old photos from many of the spots we visited. When she heard we hadn’t yet tried one of the most popular breakfast dishes, we made an impromptu stop for it, and she showed us some options at the hawker station which we came back to later that night. Fun tour with a passionate local resident!

Great experience with Sharon. She contacted us in advance and customized our day perfectly. Great introductions to local people and hawkers at the food venues. Even walked us back to our hotel. A perfect day!!

Had a great time. Not only was the food we tasted very good and from some food stalls with a great reputation, but we learned so much about Singapore. We learned about both the history and the future of what Singapore wants to build. How the country works in terms of the government and sustainability. Highly recommend. Our tour guide Jack was very knowledgable, low pressure and excellent demeanor. The food tour was very enjoyable and much was eaten and drunk. Jack started the planning process months ago where he took careful note of our preferences and suggested a few itineraries based on that. All in all highly informative and super delicious

We booked this walking tour to learn more about Singapore and see some of main sites. After completing the City Unscripted questionnaire we were assigned Roy as our guide. Prior to the tour Roy introduced himself and gave us details on our meeting point. Roy was the perfect guide and host for us. He was friendly, approachable, outgoing and a great communicator. He had designed a tour which took in Chinatown and the Central Business District, which he adapted on the day due to the slightly rainy weather and this worked perfectly. We learned so much about the history and culture of Singapore as well as seeing so many places during our 4 hour tour. Throughout the tour Roy took photos of us, capturing great moments and helping us make some fantastic memories. We would highly recommend this walking tour and our wonderful guide Roy!

Roy was wonderful from the time of booking through the entire experience. He took the time to meet us at our hotel rather than the original meeting point. He took us on a cultural experience through Chinatown, to the bay and to the market for a great lunch. My husband and I missed the Jewel at the airport and Roy was super flexible with our day and took us there. He also escorted us to the Gardens by the Bay. If we could take him on all of our travels we would - thank you Roy !!!!

Guide was fabulous and customized the tour based on our interests. Colin was not only informative on the tour but also before and after.

I did a morning tour with Colin, he was great at making contact prior so we could agree on an itinerary. The meeting place was clear and easy to find. Colin is very knowledgeable about the history, and as this was a food tour shared some excellent places and different food to try along with the history. The highlight (other than the food) was a visit to the Singapore City Gallery. Colin was very generous with his time and even showed me how to use the MRT. I would highly recommend doing a tour with Unscripted as you will see and learn more than if you were to wander around on your own.

A very informative tour led by Colin who gave my wife and I a very engaging historical perspective on the development of Singapore.
