    I’m Alex Before ending up in Japan, many years back, I had a nomad life across several Asian countries for many years as well. I spent most of that time in India, where among other activities I had my first experiences as a tour guide. There I also met my wife, and when the relationship got more serious we decided to settle down and have a more stable life, we chose Japan where she is from. Since then I had many personal experiences in this country in different fields such as human relations, jobs in different sectors, trips, bizarre situations, etc, experiences that I always like to share, together with some knowledge about aspects of the culture that I studied for years, just for the sake of getting knowledge without thinking that I would do this activity later on. By the way, I appreciate a lot the human factor, and besides having a responsibility I enjoy a lot just meeting and being with new people.     Milo was a great tour guide to a lovely city. I was actually here in Kyoto last year and saw many of the same sites but without a guide. I gained so much additional perspective by going again but actually learning about what I was looking at! For example, Milo pointed out several geisha houses I'd have never noticed, and explained the cultural significance of the practice. Despite the rain, Milo picked us up from our hotel and walked us through several historical sites, shrines, and temples. He was very knowledgable about the history of the city and its culture. We'd all recommend.

    We had a wonderful day exploring Kyoto with Milo. He did a great job balancing interesting cultural sites and shrines with fun local shopping and areas of interest. We loved walking through the Silver Pavilion and its beautiful gardens, then taking the Philosophers Path down to the city. Milo had great knowledge of the city and its history, and was a great host! We appreciated his ability to take our priorities for the day and blend them with his favorite places to visit. He also had the best photo ops planned out! Highly recommend!

    Mirasol was an incredible host. I planned the trip and the experience because of the true customizable manor of the day. I'd booked it as a "private tour" but had a photographer and her assistant join as well as I'd planned to propose to my now fiance on the trajinera ride! Mirasol not only went above and beyond to make sure we were all in the right place at the right time but actually herself got us a mariachi to help us celebrate the moment on the trajinera after. It truly couldn't have been a more special day and when my photographer friend and her assistant had to leave she then took my fiance and I around the rest of the Xochimilco area teaching us the history, trying street food, helping us shop at the market. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

    Victor was an excellent guide. He knew so much about the areas, the history, some back street and unique places and also showed us how to get around the city using the MTR card (we got the Octopus - it was the smart decision). We learned a lot, saw so much in the 4 hour tour and would recommend him. Note - some things you can do on your own, so use the tour wisely as it was private.

    We were very fortunate to have Claudio as our guide. He listened to what we wanted and planned the perfect walking tour, blending history, culture and contemporary lifestyle and giving us great recommendations for coffee, gelato and restaurants. Claudio is highly informed and clearly loves Bologna. The hours we spent with him were an ideal introduction to the city and helped us to feel oriented for the rest of our stay. The day after our tour I texted Claudio to say I had lost my scarf at dinner the previous evening and he immediately phoned the restaurant for me. All three of us would highly recommend a walking tour with Claudio.

    This was our very first trip to Hong Kong and the tour with our guide Alfred made our trip spectacular. We can’t say enough good things about Alfred, he was so knowledgable in both the history of Hong Kong and this city itself. We asked Alfred to plan our itinerary for us and it was beyond our expectations. We saw more of the city than we could have ever imagined in one day. Alfred helped us with Restaurant recommendations along with any other inquiries we had. We’ve been on many tours when traveling, however nothing would compare to the experience we had with Alfred. By the end of our tour, we honestly felt like family and were sad to say goodbye. Highly recommend this tour and if you have Alfred as your guide you are will be very fortunate!!!

    We spent the day with Alfred who was absolutely fantastic and so knowledgeable! He shared everything he could with us as we experienced Hong Kong for the first time. We saw a ton in our day together and had asked Alfred ahead of time to simply plan what he thought we would to see. He did not disappoint and we could not be more thrilled with the time we were able to spend with him. We ended up using the train/subway quite a bit which is very easy to navigate and set us up with confidence the next day for a group tour that relied on some subway action. The thing that made Alfred truly special beyond his knowledge and kindness was he took pics of my husband and I throughout the entire tour on his own accord and bundled/airdropped to me when we said our goodbyes.

    Alex was fantastic. We got to learn a ton of local and national history and see so many different areas that it’s hard to believe we did all that in two hours. We don’t speak Spanish so his English fluency was just what we needed. And he was very flexible in accommodating a few stops along the planned route so we could buy some local snacks.

    My husband, my 10 years old and I had a great experience in Kyoto. Mia was our private tour guide. She is very kind and very accommodating to our interests. She approached us before our trip and tried to understand our needs. My boy is not very much interested in temples but as a family, we would still like to explore this iconic city. Mia tailored our trip to see the most famous shrine Fushimi Inari Taisha and Gion district for local dining and shopping. The blend of culture and food was perfect for our family. She kept the explanations and conversation interesting. My boy was engaged all the time. For many places in the world, you can travel with online assistance, like ChatGPT. But for sophisticated places like Kyoto, it was a best decision we made to hire a local guide. Mia was exactly who we needed.
