Great tour with Pao - showed us so many interesting places that we wouldn’t have gotten from a driving tour.

We had a great 3-hour walking tour with our Tour Guide Nicolas. Nicolas contacted me a couple of weeks before our tour to check in and see what sites we most wanted to visit. I had a fairly working knowledge of what we wanted to see and together we came up with the following itinerary: Torres de Serranos, El Carmen (Old Town), the Mercado Central, Miguelete & the Valencia Catedral, Plaza de La Reina, Mercado Colon (public market), Ayuntamiento (City Council) and Plaza de Toros (Bullfighting Ring). Seeing all of those sites gaves us a really authentic Valencian experience. Nicolas is originally from Ecuador, but he and his wife have lived in Valencia for 4 years. He was very knowledgeable about each location. We walked up the tower (I counted 213 steps) at Miguelete, which offered wonderful views of the city. Nicolas also recommended that we visit the Jardin del Turia (Turia Gardens) which we toured by bike on a 10-mile loop. He also recommended we visit the Ciudad de las Artes, which we saw along our bike ride. All in all, I highly recommend this 3-hour walking tour, which is also offered in 2-hour and 4-hour increments, for anybody visiting beautiful Valencia and wanting to get a better feel for the town. I think 3-hours was probably the perfect amount of time, but if you are up for it, 4 hours would have been nice as well.

Great overview of Madrid, recommend scheduling early in your visit to get an idea of where you'd like to spend more time. Carmen is knowledgeable and fun as you walk through old Madrid.

We booked this tour for our first day in Madrid. It helped us to orient ourselves in the city. Our guide Carolina was ponctual, calm, and knowledgeable. She adapted the tour to our preferences and was generous enough to give us a list of good local Madrilenian restaurants.
