"Konnichiwa! My name is Criselda but please feel free to call me Cris or Selda. I've been living and working in the region for almost 7 years now. I have a great passion for putting Kanazawa's name on the map of top destinations in the world. In fact, I run a page promoting the area including places to visit, shops to go to, restaurants to eat at, and most importantly, experiences that'll last a lifetime. Allow me to be your Kanazawa's local bestie :) I can't wait to show you around!"

My reviews

Selda was a wonderful guide! She showed us her favorite izakayas in Kanazawa and ordered her favorite, local food she likes to enjoy. We throughly enjoyed the meals and the fun atmosphere in the izakayas. Please note, this is not a street food tour as Kanazawa does not offer this except in Omicho Market which closes at 4pm daily. I highly recommend this tour if you want a broad introduction of the local foods.

Selda, or Cris as we called her, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the city. She took us everywhere and gave local insights into the various neighborhoods. We thoroughly enjoyed the day!

We celebrated New Year in Japan. Despite warnings that everything will be shut down all over the country we took the chance and never regretted it. After skiing in Hakuba we headed to Kanazawa and spent three wonderful days there. Our guide Criselda, introduced us to the cultural background of Ishikawa region, its rich history and traditions in the best way possible. She built our itinerary so it was always a time to stop and enjoy what was going on around. Kanazawa is a beautiful place with incredible food and people there are very welcoming. Thank you Criselda!
