Maria was AMAZING. She gave me exactly the experience I wanted and I enjoyed every minute.

Maria was lovely and set a pace that was good for our group. She helped us with transit passes and banking! She took us to a nice place for good food and a good store for knives. she set a good route that made sense in the time allowed. Thank you Maria!

Maria clearly loves Osaka and it shows. We had just visited Dotonbori the day before but were disappointed with what we found. Maria took us there and showed us some great spots and shared some good history.

I had such a wonderful time exploring Osaka with Fumiko! From the beginning, she was warm, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful in planning a tour that matched exactly what I was looking for. She guided me through charming neighborhoods, local markets, and hidden gems that I never would have discovered on my own. Her deep knowledge of the city, culture, and everyday life in Osaka added so much meaning to everything we saw. I especially appreciated how flexible the tour was—we could take our time and truly enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. At the Osaka Castle, Fumiko shared interesting insights that made the visit more meaningful. I felt like I experienced the real spirit of Osaka.

We did a 9 hour Nara day trip with Fumiko on 4/9. She was great-- we switched hotels and she was flexible in picking us up at our new hotel lobby. She was knowledgeable about the sites visited, navigated the train system for us, and was patient with our souvenir shopping and perusing during the entire day. We had a great time and I would highly recommend. We saw the Nara deer, Todai-iji temple, did some shopping in downtown Nara, and a sake tasting. She was great at personalizing our itinerary to our desired activities.

Our guide was terrific! I was not able to give direction before the tour. Louis was able to create a great tour on the fly. We wanted to try soufle pancakes. He even for that in! Loved it!

We wanted to start our first day in Osaka with a guided tour to make sure we could get our bearings. We met up with Harhui at 10 am and had such an amazing time! She showed us the small out of the way places that had the most delightful foods and drinks. She also advised us on the best tea to purchase and helped us with finding different places we were told we must visit. Harhui was an amazing host and we would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Harhui for being a part of our day today. ❤️

Haruhi listened to what we were interested in and planned out a wonderful 3 hour tour of Osaka. We highly recommend her as a tour guide.

Haruhi gave us a wonderful introduction to "Japan's Kitchen" on our recent trip to Osaka. Our afternoon was well planned offering us chances to sample several of Osaka's most interesting specialty flavors while enjoying the street scene that makes this city unique. Pace was perfectly casual.....and flexible enough for us to stop as we wished. Haruhi is an absolute delight to be with. Eat as much as or little as you like...and enjoy every morsel. We did!!!

At a casual pace, Haruhi introduced us to a delicious variety of specialty foods as we walked thru Kuromon Market and around Namba, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi areas. It was a great introduction to the city.

Had a great time on the tour with Taku. He did a great job and showed us lots of great food and history of Osaka. We would book again.

We had limited time in Osaka so wanted to make the most of it. Our tour with Taku ticked all the boxes. So much better than a big group tour. We just hopped on the trains (expertly guided by Taku) to travel between the various destinations. The street food market was a particular favourite. We have already recommended Taku and City Unscripted to friends.

It was a great tour with Taku. He was informative on the places that we went to and he was adaptable with us going off the set plan of the tour. He took us to some of his favorite spots in the city.

Kieran was able to answer all question we had about history and current topics such as the economy and various other more present day topics. We never stopped talking. We very much enjoyed our time together.

Kieran is an exceptional tour guide. I have been on many tours around the world and this was the best one I have been on. There was a mixup on where we were supposed to meet and he made the effort to go out of his way about 25 minutes to find me. We then spent almost 8 hours together, and I learned so much about the history and culture of both Osaka and Japan. Kieran is Canadian so the conversation in English was easy and understandable. He is also a foodie which helped make our day enjoyable. He is really a nice enjoyable guy.

Alex was fantastic. Very good with the kids and super flexible to their ever changing needs. Also had lots of knowledge of locations and culture which made for some great conversation for the Adults.

With a very indecisive 11yo and 1 super energetic 8yo, doing guided tours can be a challenge. Alex almost immediately put that at ease with his warm and welcoming personality. He was very accomodating of the children’s needs and had some great idea’s for things to do with them that they enjoyed very much. That alone was more than enough, however his knowledge of the area and its culture made for some very interesting conversation for the adults as well. It was an absolute pleasure and I highly recommend Alex as a guide.

Great tour. Miki was very pleasant and entertaining. She did a great job of taking us around. We had some rain and wind and she adjusted to make the best of things!

Hello! My husband and I enjoyed our time with Miki in Osaka. She met us at the cruise ship and we started our day riding the subway to the Osaka station and visited the castle. We did a lot of walking that day and the day flew by. Miki is very responsive ahead of the tour, she’s extremely personable & provided us with a nice overview of Osaka, where she has lived her entire life. We got hungry so Miki took us to the Dotonburi area where we found a great place to eat. The rest of our time was spent having lunch and then Miki took us to the correct train and stayed with us until ours came. We didn’t get to see much but that was probably mostly our fault because we chose to walk our way to the castle instead of catching the little train and the walk took up a lot of our time. Something to note - be sure to bring enough money to pay for Miki’s transportation expense over the course of the day. I was not aware that we had to do that because I didn’t see it noted on the tour description. I didn’t mind - it was less than 1,000¥ - and I was glad I had the cash with me. Just sharing so you know in advance! We recommend and think you will enjoy your time with Miki!

Our guide, Miki, is from Osaka where our tour was. She showed us some areas and shared what she loves about her city. She makes friends wherever she goes. We felt like we were connected to the people and the sites we seen. Thank you for a great day.

My husband and I had a great day with Max as our guide. He has excellent local knowledge and brilliant communication skills. He took us to a number of places we would not have found on our own.

He was interesting, knowledgeable and fun. It was a great tour.

Despite a non-stop tour schedule and almost no sleep, Hiroki was wonderful and we enjoyed the sights around Nara, particularly the "Giant Buddha" temple, Nara deer park, and the (exhausting) climb and views from Mount Wakakusayama. It was a jam-packed day but highly enjoyable!

Hiroki accommodated our requested times and choices.

Everything was perfect! Hiroki did a great job sharing Osaka with us.

We had a great day in Osaka with Hiroki. Having a knowledgeable local to show you around and suggest the best things to see and do takes any stress out of finding your own way through the local transport systems.

Really enjoyed the tour. Mayu did a great job creating a tour that fit our interests and made everything personable. We got a taste of Osaka from a true local point of view.

Excellent luncheon at a local Tempura restaurant.

What a great day with my private tour guide! It was like having a best friend to show you all the best spots- even met a few more friends along the way. I was looking for cooking and housewares and Mayura showed me some great places, as well as some good spots for snacks and even had a Sakura latte. Highly recommend the personalized walking experience.

We had a 3 hr walking tour with Ryan who was an excellent guide. He gave us a very good overview of Osaka with many stories, cultural information and food stops. Very enjoyable.

Our guide Jan Michael was excellent and he made our stay in Osaka memorable in our tour of Japan.
