Hello, I’m Kirsten, a friendly and curious local host who has fallen in love with the warmth and kindness of the people in Kobe. From the moment I arrived, the community has made me feel at home, especially as a mother raising my daughter here. I enjoy exploring the city’s ever-changing scene, where there’s always a new restaurant, shop, or café to discover. On weekends, my family and I love visiting local bookstores, libraries, and festivals around Kobe, soaking up the city’s lively and welcoming spirit. I know neighborhoods like Tarumi and Sannomiya very well, along with the best spots for young children and plenty of tasty, affordable places to eat. I’m always happy to share the local favorites that make life in Kobe so special.
