So many things to do in Mexico City revolve around its culinary culture. Authentic Mexican food is some of the most vibrant in the world, and when it comes to sheer flavor, there’s little to separate ambitious restaurants from traditional taquerías. Claudia, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of the various places that we’ve been to. She was our mom walking us around casually and brought us to a very nice place for lunch.

Our tour was a bit later in the afternoon, so many of the points of interest were closed. However, Gabriel worked with this constraint and made sure we still had a great time walking the streets of CDMX. He picked us up at our Airbnb and we asked for the "full experience" so we rode the subway! We had churros as well as tacos al pastor. Not only that, he got me some beautiful flowers that he grew himself since it was my birthday. Gabriel was very kind and stopped a guy on the street, asked for his guitar, and sang "Las Mananitas" to me. It was a great experience with a local!
