My reviews

Marisol was an absolutely brilliant guide. From the very start she wanted to make sure we had the best experience on our tour. When she heard we were interested in the art, history, and architecture of CDMX, she brought us around the historical downtown area. As part of her tour, she masterfully recounted both the ancient and modern history to the two of us, giving us a thorough and working appreciation of the indigenous feats of the Mexicas in establishing their civilization on an unforgiving island while pointing out how these feats became newly appreciated under Benito Juárez following Porfirio Díaz’s penchant for French culture. She took us to gems, like the basement of the Centro Cultural de España to see the ancient foundations of the building in which ancient emperors were educated. We continued the day with a mixture of outstanding murals in places we would have never visited without her guidance. Marisol also made sure we sampled delicious street food, mezcal from poblano peppers, and the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. It was a wonderful day and I cannot express enough gratitude for Marisol’s expertise, rich local knowledge, and her generosity in sharing it with us.

We had a great day. Marisol was so knowledgeable about history, architecture, art, and more. She showed me sights I would not have otherwise seen, brought me to a great restaurant for lunch, and answered every question I had. I would highly recommend her as a guide!

After the initial confusion with logistics we had a wonderful day with Marisol. She is very knowledgeable and added to our canal experience with history, visits to the bakery, market, monastery , etc.. A pleasure to have as our host.
