    Agnes was a wonderful local guide, generous with her time and insights about growing up in Budapest. We tasted a number of staples from local restaurants far removed from the tourist spots, ending with a celebratory drink at one of the lesser-known (read: locals actually go there) ruin bars.

    Our foody tour with Agnes was excellent. We started at the Great Market Hall with a couple of tastings of things I probably wouldn't have tried without her local knowledge. They were quite tasty. Then she took us around town to a few of her favorite spots for some traditional food and drink. It was fun hearing her stories about growing up with the things that she ordered for us. This is a must do for anyone who has ever watched Somebody Feed Phil. Thank you Agnes!
