I live in Corvin Quarter.
I work in Central Pest.
I hang out in
Central Pest, Jewish Quarter, Buda, near the Danube, Margaret Island, between Buda and Pest.
I am a friendly local living in Budapest for exactly 20 years by now, originally from the south of the country, Pécs, on the Croatian border. My learned profession is South-Eastern European History, therefore I have a profound knowledge, not only of Budapest itself, but the wider region around us. Also studied Jewish History in both Budapest and in Jerusalem, and know the Jewish side of the city in detail, that is diverse and interesting. I am well travelled, especially in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, studied in a number of countries, including Bulgaria, Israel and the UK. Cultural life in Budapest is that I focus on in my free time, concerts, literary events, modern art, theatre and cinema. I am looking forward to applying my knowledge, experiance and easy going character to organised tours at City Unscripted.
