Paul is perceptive and intuitive. He is not just a guide; he is a teacher. It was raining the entire time we were here but Paul adjusted the itinerary for the weather. We saw the museum, the tombs, the markets, and had a great lunch - but learning about Korea the entire time. We live in Korea and our adult children will be visiting us later in the year. We will contact City Unscripted and specifically ask for Paul. He is that good.

We had a excellent and memorable tour with Christy (SuJeong). She customized the tour for us of Namsam Tower and we loved lunch!

I only had 4 hours to get a taste of Seoul (overnight air connection layover) and am SO HAPPY I found City Unscripted. I've worked with many custom day tour guides, and this is this best bang for my buck yet. Sujeong did back flips making sure I saw as much as I could during my short time in her city. The tour was fast paced (which I wanted, even being 67 years old!) and fun. I wanted to see the local street scene, glimpse pre-war homes that weren't blitzed during war years, and sample the amazing food--all of which I did! Prior to the trip, she gave me various options so she could gauge my taste. I wasn't expecting the added bonus of her photographic skills. I have so many memories it seems I was there a week instead of a short day. (An aside: I was glad I left my 80 year old hubby behind in the hotel room. She said she would be happy to accommodate his limitations and that would have been fine if we'd had more time.) I'm only sorry I short-changed this fabulous city after 2-plus weeks in Japan. In fact, all of South Korea deserves at least a couple of weeks. Sujeong insured I was well-aware of the riches of her country and I'm anxious to return.
