Experience outline

- Visit the famous Namdaemun Market and immerse yourself in 600 years of Korean food culture
- Try street eats like tteokbokki (sticky rice cakes), mung bean pancakes and mayak kimbap, seaweed-wrapped rolls stuffed with carrot, pickled daikon radish, and rice seasoned with sesame oil
- Visit the food alley dedicated to grilled pollock and ice-cold beer - you won’t spot a tourist in sight!

Ben was our host and he was wonderful! Went to a Local market and he ordered items he liked. A little bit of everything. He tried to think of items and destinations near our hotel since we were traveling with our kids. Our son didn’t want to try anything and Ben was very patient and kind to him.

My guide was, quite frankly, the best guide I have *ever* had on any tour I have been on (have been to over 20 countries). From the historical knowledge to the intricate knowledge of customs, my guide specifically tailored my tour to my interests and was easily able to answer any random question I had for him. I was, and still am, thoroughly impressed. A+ for city unscripted, and A++ for my terrific, knowledgeable, and genuine guide. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

We love taking City Unscripted tours when we are visiting a new place - the customization and expertise of the guides can't be beat! Our guide on Seoul, Arnaud, was so knowledgeable about the city and took us to some wonderful places that we would not have known to look for. The couple of hours we spent with him felt more like time spent with a friend from Seoul than a tour guide. I highly recommend using City Unscripted (and asking for Arnaud) when you are visiting Seoul!

Ben was perfect! He was engaging and kept us moving. He took us to Gwangjang market and surprised us with an impromptu walk along the stream. Our kids never complained once as he kept them entertained and taught us a lot about Korean culture, customs, and traditional foods. We visited Hongdae and had a very sweet ending with Sul-bing. This was the best tour, a great balance of food and fun! Cannot recommend enough!
