Kevin Garvey was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable about the music, passionate about history of the city & extremely friendly & accommodating to what we wanted to see & keeping us in the shade on a very hot day. For anyone that is as passionate as I am about the Manchester music scene, Kevin is the guide would recommend. He’s just as passionate & was part of the scene from the beginning to the end. Thanks again Kevin, Christine & I had a blast.

Kevin was assigned to our small group. The first thing he did was ask us our interests (essentially Manchester music between 1977 through 1992). He then did his homework and prepared a list of sites to visit. He was able to share his knowledge of the city and its history (musical and otherwise) with us, as we walked through the town. Around seemingly every corner, Kevin shared little bits of trivia like how this band played here, or that band rehearsed there. It really was amazing that all this history happened in such a (relatively) small area. Even after the tour, Kevin shared even more sites that we weren't able to get to on the tour. It was a fantastic tour and the highlight of our trip to England.
