Brisbane is one of the few cities where you can head to work in a suit, throw on your swimmers at lunch, then stroll home along the river, and it’s magic. Even as the city booms, it still holds that country-town warmth and classic Queensland “no worries” charm. I’m obsessed with our inner-city villages, from New Farm and the Valley to West End, South Bank and even Ipswich, each with its own story.
