Tailoring each experience to your wishes by locals who love their city
In a city as stunningly cinematic as the Portuguese capital, you know the nightlife scene will be the stuff of fantasy. Lisbon’s beautiful buildings, stupendous scenery, and flawless horizons are breathtaking by day – but when the sun sets over the city’s iconic terracotta rooftops, Lisbon becomes magical in a different way. Night tours in Lisbon with City Unscripted are the perfect way to skip the tourist traps and get right into the good stuff. Anyone with a guidebook can have a happy evening moving between the city’s moonlit monuments and landmarks – but with us, you’ll spend a night in Lisbon living it up exactly like the locals do.
It seems improbable, but the list of things to do in Lisbon at night is even longer than the day. Don’t forget to pack your stamina on night tours in Lisbon, because you’ll quickly learn it’s not uncommon for locals to arrive at a bar after midnight, move to a club at three, and head back home when the sun has risen. Night tours in Lisbon will leave you spoiled for choice. From cozy wine bars to live music lounges to pulsing nightclubs, the nightlife scene doesn’t only cater to revelers – but most evenings are best begun admiring the city’s skyline with a jug of sangria at a rooftop bar.
Everyone’s idea of the perfect night is a little different, so our night tours in Lisbon are 100% personalized to suit your style. Between live music venues on the water’s edge, crowded clubs with well-known DJs, and buzzing bars that have perfected the art of mixology, Lisbon is often rated as one of Europe’s best nightlife spots. But if you like your evenings less loud and more low-key, night tours in Lisbon still have you covered. Sip a glass of regional red at a cozy wine bar, have a laid-back dinner at a local institution, or take a walk down twinkling streets lined with late-night stores.
On night tours in Lisbon, you definitely don’t have to hit the club scene – in fact, one of the most unforgettable things to do in Lisbon at night is listening to traditional fado music in the city that invented it. Perhaps you’ll make your way to a famous casa de fado for a dinner show performed by a well-known local artist while you enjoy a traditional Portuguese meal. Or maybe you’ll follow your local guide to a tiny tavern tucked away down a narrow cobbled street, where the fado is intimate and the pesticos – small plates of tasty traditional food – are the best in the city.

13000 steps later on a hot August Sunday Pedro mixed architecture history and some tasty treats. He made us appreciate the earthquake in 1700s, 1974 revolution as well as lisbons beauty. Thankyou

We enjoyed our time with Ricardo. From the instant he introduced himself at the dock to the moment we said goodbye at the end of our tour, we felt his personal touch. He took great care in selecting small, intimate neighborhood spots to share with us. We tasted foods from all regions of Portugal and have often reviewed the video of the flaming chorizo brought to our table. We are now fans forever of Portuguese green wine! Thank you Ricardo!
