Hello, I’m Gwen! Born in Glasgow, I have lived in the Edinburgh area since I was 6 years old. I am passionate about my city. A former history teacher, I love sharing the main sights and hidden gems of Edinburgh with guests of all nationalities and ages. As an ardent traveller, I have experienced the ‘kindness of strangers’ and want to share the same hospitality and generosity with my guests. History and culture are my passions. I have a wide range of interests including the arts, walking, a love of gardens and the great outdoors and food. I know a lot of secret places that the first-time visitor might not find or know about. I enjoy talking to guests and particularly like meeting their interests and needs on walking experiences and food tasting experiences.
