Dazu hat sie noch spannende Fakten erzählt was das Erlebnis perfekt gemacht hat. I had a wonderful time with Maria. She contacted me before the tour and clarified all the details. We discovered beautiful places and were able to take great photos. She also shared some fascinating facts, which made the experience perfect.

Alex really enhanced our trip a great deal! Very knowledgeable about local history and culture. His perspective helped us understand the uniqueness of different regions of Japan. He was very helpful in navigating the area and the helped us buy travel items we needed such as stamps and sunglasses! We appreciated his insight in what it is like for locals living here in Japan instead of just seeing tourist sights! Really enjoyed going to a local supermarket to discuss what families ear and getting a flavor for daily life in Japan.

On the day of the tour we were greeted by a WhatsApp message from Alex offering assistance in finding the meet-up spot which was a nice touch. Alex was very friendly and welcoming throughout the tour with excellent English speaking skills. He was very knowledgeable about the area covered in the tour and about Japan and its history in general. Alex was happy to take photographs for us throughout the tour. Alex was very happy to recommend additional areas of interest in Kyoto and other areas of Japan. I would highly recommend the this tour as an introduction to Gion and Kyoto in general, if this is early in your trip you may also get recommendations for other areas of Japan during your stay.

Obwohl die Tour eher für das Nachtleben ausgelegt war hat sie sich Zeit genommen mir versteckte Orte und Gassen zu zeigen wo ich super Bilder machen kann und mir dazu noch viel Tips und Anregungen mitgegeben. Ich habe die Tour wirklich genossen und wunderschöne Plätze gesehen die ich selbst nicht gefunden hätte. I booked the tour at short notice because I was fascinated by the evening lights and impressions of Japan. My tour guide, Fumiko, took me to some amazing places. Although the tour was more focused on the nightlife, she took the time to show me hidden spots and alleys where I could take great photos and gave me lots of tips and suggestions. I really enjoyed the tour and saw beautiful places I wouldn't have found on my own.

She helped me find shops that carried the items I was looking for, but more importantly was a great shopping buddy and translator as needed. This private tour was a great option for me when I wanted to go shopping and the rest of my group didn't. We did run into a problem that my tour started at 10am and most of the shops we wanted to look at didn't open until 11am. Fumiko tried to find the few places that opened early for us to start at, but I would advise starting shopping tours at 11am to avoid this issue.

It was an awesome tour with Fumiko. It was a last minute booking and normally the tour was about night life and bars . But I ask for a bit of hidden gems for photos and she did not disappoint. We found some amazing views and narrow streets where I could take wonderful pictures. We had some lokal snacks and it was beautiful. Thank you so much again

Everything about this tour was excellent. Easily one of the best tours I’ve ever been on (if not THE best tour) in the over 50+ countries I’ve traveled to. Milo was a well-versed guide, not only with knowledge on the historical aspects on Japan, but also amazing local recommendations. Truly could not recommend this tour and Milo enough.

Milo was the most personable and knowledgable guide that we have had since we came to Japan a week and a half ago. He was funny and kind and clearly knew the history and culture of the area. The people we passed were happy to see him which really speaks to his character. He showed us his favorite spots which were excellent hidden locations. Any guide we have after this will have a hard time providing the level of service that Milo is capable of!

Mile was very knowledgeable and engaged! We learned so much about Kyoto and the two hour tour was perfect for my two young kids! Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our full-day, private tour of Hong Kong with Victor. With only one day to spend in Hong Kong, time was well spent, seeing the city’s many highlights and local spots as well. Victor was an excellent guide. He knew so much about the areas, the history, some back street and unique places and also showed us how to get around the city using the MTR card (we got the Octopus - it was the smart decision). We learned a lot, saw so much in the 4 hour tour and would recommend him. Note - some things you can do on your own, so use the tour wisely as it was private.

Toga was amazing. He showed us beautiful shrines and temples and modified the itinerary based on our requests. He also gave us very helpful information for the rest of our stay. He was the key to our entire visit and a really great enjoyable guy

Toga was a fantastic guide. We wanted to experience food in Kyoto we might not find ourselves and he delivered. We had a fantastic evening of food and drink along with great conversation. Our best evening on this trip thus far.

Enjoyed shopping for lunch at the food hall. Aya explained what all the food items were. We really enjoyed our picnic - all the different dishes were amazing. Aya was happy to take photos for us at all the different spots that we visited. Aya is definitely a people person and is the right person for the job.

Aya was very knowledgeable, and has the perfect personality for a tour guide. She happily took photos of us at all the stops. We absolutely loved being taken to the food hall to choose our lunch, quite an experience. Aya explained what all the dishes were and each dish was delicious when we later had our picnic. I couldn’t praise Aya and this tour any higher. The highlight of our trip. Thank you so much Aya.

We really enjoyed all the sights around Harajuku and Asakusa! It was a wonderful blend of modern and traditional. Ayaka was a great guide who supplied us with tons of information, and also offered to help us take pictures and gave great suggestions.

Kenya was a great guide for our introduction tour to Kyoto, personable and knowledgeable! If had more time we would have requested more time/exploration of Kyoto with him. Gave us recommendations of restaurants and shopping in addition.

Excellent communication throughout starting from prior to tour and throughout. Tour was very unrushed. Kenya made sure we were able to experience what we had requested prior to the tour.

The tour was awesome! Kenya, our guide through the streets of Kyoto, was extremely knowledgeable. He showed us temples, shrines, traditional homes etc., explaining the history of each site. He also managed to answer random questions we asked along the way! It is a small group so it was just 3 of us and Kenya. Highly recommend.

We had a great time exploring Kyoto with Ryuki! He showed us a lot of places we would have missed, taught us a lot about the culture and history, and provided excellent recommendations on other places to visit! He was nice, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Both our tour guide, Ryuki, and this tour were absolutely fantastic! Our group of four adults felt so incredibly lucky to have found our way to this tour during our three-day stay in Kyoto. With Ryuki's total professionalism and guidance, his tremendous love and knowledge of his city (he was born and raised in Kyoto), and a truly joyful personality, we were able to see, experience, and enjoy ten-fold the number of things we could ever have managed to see and do on our own. The five-hour tour was jam-packed and fabulous: highlights included strolls through Gion and Pontocho Alley, the Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine, the Yasaka Shrine, and the most delicious cherry blossom ice cream in all of Japan! This wonderful tour was a true joy from start to finish!!
