    Maria was fantastic! She was so helpful even before we arrived, as far as some back and forth emails to tailor our itinerary. She was willing to adjust things even on the day, since I was having a lot of hip pain during our walk around the city. She knew some short cuts to take and places for me to rest. We saw so much and appreciated her friendliness and her knowledge of Osaka since she has been living there for over 30 years. Her English is excellent. I would highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a local guide to show them the best of Osaka!

    I’m Alex Before ending up in Japan, many years back, I had a nomad life across several Asian countries for many years as well. I spent most of that time in India, where among other activities I had my first experiences as a tour guide. There I also met my wife, and when the relationship got more serious we decided to settle down and have a more stable life, we chose Japan where she is from. Since then I had many personal experiences in this country in different fields such as human relations, jobs in different sectors, trips, bizarre situations, etc, experiences that I always like to share, together with some knowledge about aspects of the culture that I studied for years, just for the sake of getting knowledge without thinking that I would do this activity later on. By the way, I appreciate a lot the human factor, and besides having a responsibility I enjoy a lot just meeting and being with new people. In other words; I love this job, I love the culture I show, and I love human communication in itself.     Milo made such a difference to our stay in Kyoto. We booked a 3 hour tour which was perfect for us and he brought us to Nene no Michi Maruyama park Chion in temple gate (pure land sect) Heian shrine gate Nanzenji temple Philosophers path The silver temple He is so knowledgeable and passionate about Kyoto’s fascinating history. He also connected so well with my two sons who are 23 years and 21 years old. After the tour, he sent us numerous recommendations for the rest of our Japan holidays. For sure, we will come back to Kyoto and book Milo again!

    We had an amazing night tour of Gion, thanks to Milo’s impressive local knowledge from history to culture to trivia. He was extremely engaging and the private tour allowed for spontaneous dialogue. He was well organised in the routing, and it was highly personalised.     Milo was a great tour guide to a lovely city. I was actually here in Kyoto last year and saw many of the same sites but without a guide. I gained so much additional perspective by going again but actually learning about what I was looking at! For example, Milo pointed out several geisha houses I'd have never noticed, and explained the cultural significance of the practice. Despite the rain, Milo picked us up from our hotel and walked us through several historical sites, shrines, and temples. He was very knowledgable about the history of the city and its culture. We'd all recommend.

    Mirasol was an incredible host. I planned the trip and the experience because of the true customizable manor of the day. I'd booked it as a "private tour" but had a photographer and her assistant join as well as I'd planned to propose to my now fiance on the trajinera ride! Mirasol not only went above and beyond to make sure we were all in the right place at the right time but actually herself got us a mariachi to help us celebrate the moment on the trajinera after. It truly couldn't have been a more special day and when my photographer friend and her assistant had to leave she then took my fiance and I around the rest of the Xochimilco area teaching us the history, trying street food, helping us shop at the market. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

    Victor was an excellent guide. He knew so much about the areas, the history, some back street and unique places and also showed us how to get around the city using the MTR card (we got the Octopus - it was the smart decision). We learned a lot, saw so much in the 4 hour tour and would recommend him. Note - some things you can do on your own, so use the tour wisely as it was private.

    We had a fantastic private walking tour of Munich with Naveen.     We were very fortunate to have Claudio as our guide. He listened to what we wanted and planned the perfect walking tour, blending history, culture and contemporary lifestyle and giving us great recommendations for coffee, gelato and restaurants. Claudio is highly informed and clearly loves Bologna. The hours we spent with him were an ideal introduction to the city and helped us to feel oriented for the rest of our stay. The day after our tour I texted Claudio to say I had lost my scarf at dinner the previous evening and he immediately phoned the restaurant for me. All three of us would highly recommend a walking tour with Claudio.

He introduced us to places and aspects of Hong Kong that we doubt we would have encountered on a "standard" tour, certainly not the hop on hop off bus.     Ayaka was amazing! She was so kind, friendly and welcoming. My son doesn’t usually feel comfortable around strangers but loved Aya. She took us everywhere we wanted and adjusted as we needed with my son. Aya was very knowledgeable about culture and random facts - I can’t rate her high enough, she truly made our experience fantastic and memorable as a family.

    Alex was a fantastic tour guide. We had limited time so could only do a 3 hour tour but somehow managed to tick off a lot of my Kyoto list with information on culture, religion and geography. We did a large part of Gion which was my personal favourite! It really was the best way to discover Kyoto in an afternoon!

    PK was a wonderful host and was mostly able to keep us away from tourist traps, which was the brief, but no small challenge in the most visited city in Asia. As a result we found many off-the-beaten-track gems and indulged in delicious snacks and the most affordable and one of the tastiest curries. PK is friendly, charming, kind, funny, knowledgeable and very thoughtful.

    We had a wonderful custom day tour in Istanbul with our guide. Ipek was incredibly knowledgeable, and you could genuinely feel her passion for what she does. Beyond her expertise, she was also very kind and attentive. What I appreciated most was the pacing — the day never felt rushed or crammed with too many activities. She thoughtfully designed the itinerary so we could truly soak in the city, be present, and enjoy each place at a meaningful pace. It made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. Highly recommended if you want a deeper, more intentional way to experience Istanbul.

    We packed as much as we could into our 4 hours with Amy our guide . She came to our hotel to meet us and Explained all our Japanese history and the different cultures and ways of the life here in Kyoto. If you get Amy you will be in good hands and she is always keen and ready to take pictures as we moved around temples and shrines . Wear your best and most comfortable shoes and Kyoto is not as well connected so often a good walk is necessary. Amy took us to the best shops to try out local delicious foods and sweets and macho tea and saka . We left the tour with hundreds of photos of a great day .
