    We had a wonderful experience with our Guide Milo! He was exactly what we were hoping for! A local with extensive historical knowledge! He spoke fluent English and Japanese which made navigating the city a breeze! He lead us through the city telling us the history and showing us important sights and then took us to a few temples where we got to experience zen meditation and calligraphy in addition to Matcha! He even recommended a local Udon shop that was unknown to tourists - Best meal in Kyoto!! He went above and beyond to help us have a great experience!

    We had a great time walking around the best parts of Kyoto with Milo today for 5 hours. He was very knowledgeable and had excellent insights into history, culture and hidden secrets. He went at the pace we asked him to go at and he took into account all of our needs (food stops, comfort breaks, start point and end point).

    Milo made such a difference to our stay in Kyoto. We booked a 3 hour tour which was perfect for us and he brought us to Nene no Michi Maruyama park Chion in temple gate (pure land sect) Heian shrine gate Nanzenji temple Philosophers path The silver temple He is so knowledgeable and passionate about Kyoto’s fascinating history. He also connected so well with my two sons who are 23 years and 21 years old. After the tour, he sent us numerous recommendations for the rest of our Japan holidays. For sure, we will come back to Kyoto and book Milo again!

    I’m Alex Before ending up in Japan, many years back, I had a nomad life across several Asian countries for many years as well. I spent most of that time in India, where among other activities I had my first experiences as a tour guide. There I also met my wife, and when the relationship got more serious we decided to settle down and have a more stable life, we chose Japan where she is from. Since then I had many personal experiences in this country in different fields such as human relations, jobs in different sectors, trips, bizarre situations, etc, experiences that I always like to share, together with some knowledge about aspects of the culture that I studied for years, just for the sake of getting knowledge without thinking that I would do this activity later on. By the way, I appreciate a lot the human factor, and besides having a responsibility I enjoy a lot just meeting and being with new people. In other words; I love this job, I love the culture I show, and I love human communication in itself.     Victor was an excellent guide. He knew so much about the areas, the history, some back street and unique places and also showed us how to get around the city using the MTR card (we got the Octopus - it was the smart decision). We learned a lot, saw so much in the 4 hour tour and would recommend him. Note - some things you can do on your own, so use the tour wisely as it was private.

    My brother and I decided to do a day trip to Bologna from Venice. The train ride was just ocer and hour. Fortunately, we found the option to do the day tour for a few hours and were very happy with the results of the quantity of time. More importantly, our tour guide , Claudio was the most considerate and knowledgeable person we couid have hoped for. We walked significantly but it want too taxing. It was great to learn about the great historical nuggets about the city. In addition, he offered some great recommendations to eat and we were very pleased to have dined in this food forward city.     Alfred asked us what we would like to see prior to our tour date. He was so well prepared when we met him at our hotel. We walked & caught a bus to the banking district, took the funicular railway up to Victoria’s peak and walked around it, taxied back down to HK central to see famous locations before taking us back to our hotel by the subway. It was an excellent tour.

    Alfred was a fantastic tour guide. Lots of walking, lots of steps. He adjusted the itinerary in response to our interests and was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Hong Kong. We had a four hour tour booked, he spent five plus hours with us and even walked with us to a great local lunch spot before saying goodbye. He went above and beyond. He provided a wonderful introduction to a city we had not been to before.

    We have been to Singapore several times before but weren’t sure what to order at the Hawker markets. Mark was a great guide, really informative about Singapore overall as well as the cuisine. He arranged for us to taste lots of different foods which we would never had the opportunity to try if we were on our own. We had a really great trip and would highly recommend giving it a try.

    We like a walking tour and although my other half wanted to cut it short and go shopping (again), I think a walking tour with a well informed guide is a great way of getting a feel for a city. Emma didn't disappoint. Not sure where I goth the impression that Melbourne retained a lot of its colonial past, it isn't that, instead we found a modern and vibrant city with less of its past preserved than you might expect. We thought Emma was great and gave us a great foundation for more exploring during our stay. The Queen Victoria Market is a must, especially the food market.
