    We did a 3-hour walking tour in Osaka with Maria. It was a very fun way to get acclimated into a city we have never been to before.     I’m Alex Before ending up in Japan, many years back, I had a nomad life across several Asian countries for many years as well. I spent most of that time in India, where among other activities I had my first experiences as a tour guide. There I also met my wife, and when the relationship got more serious we decided to settle down and have a more stable life, we chose Japan where she is from. Since then I had many personal experiences in this country in different fields such as human relations, jobs in different sectors, trips, bizarre situations, etc, experiences that I always like to share, together with some knowledge about aspects of the culture that I studied for years, just for the sake of getting knowledge without thinking that I would do this activity later on. By the way, I appreciate a lot the human factor, and besides having a responsibility I enjoy a lot just meeting and being with new people. In other words; I love this job, I love the culture I show, and I love human communication in itself.     We had a wonderful day exploring Kyoto with Milo. He did a great job balancing interesting cultural sites and shrines with fun local shopping and areas of interest. We loved walking through the Silver Pavilion and its beautiful gardens, then taking the Philosophers Path down to the city. Milo had great knowledge of the city and its history, and was a great host! We appreciated his ability to take our priorities for the day and blend them with his favorite places to visit. He also had the best photo ops planned out! Highly recommend!

    Mirasol was an incredible host. I planned the trip and the experience because of the true customizable manor of the day. I'd booked it as a "private tour" but had a photographer and her assistant join as well as I'd planned to propose to my now fiance on the trajinera ride! Mirasol not only went above and beyond to make sure we were all in the right place at the right time but actually herself got us a mariachi to help us celebrate the moment on the trajinera after. It truly couldn't have been a more special day and when my photographer friend and her assistant had to leave she then took my fiance and I around the rest of the Xochimilco area teaching us the history, trying street food, helping us shop at the market. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

    Victor was an excellent guide. He knew so much about the areas, the history, some back street and unique places and also showed us how to get around the city using the MTR card (we got the Octopus - it was the smart decision). We learned a lot, saw so much in the 4 hour tour and would recommend him. Note - some things you can do on your own, so use the tour wisely as it was private.

    We had a great experience with Naveen on Friday! My 3 friends and I thought we would take an uber or taxi from airport hotel to downtown. Naveen suggested we take the train and we are so glad we did! He gave us explicit instructions and it was great taking public transportation in Munich! Our tour included many stops where Naveen would explain the history and events that took place in those locations. We were interested in buying a German Nutcracker and he took us to a little shop that sold authentic nutcrackers! He also took us to two Christmas markets. We visited the Hofbrau House and enjoyed a German beer and pretzel! It was a fantastic afternoon! Thank you Naveen and aviator!

    My experience with City Unscripted was wonderful. After I made my reservation, they sent me a questionnaire with questions to help understand what I am interested in seeing in Munich. City Unscripted assigned me a guide who contacted me via What’s App to introduce himself. In June, 6 months before our tour, the guide, Naveen, asked if we had any special requests.     We were very fortunate to have Claudio as our guide. He listened to what we wanted and planned the perfect walking tour, blending history, culture and contemporary lifestyle and giving us great recommendations for coffee, gelato and restaurants. Claudio is highly informed and clearly loves Bologna. The hours we spent with him were an ideal introduction to the city and helped us to feel oriented for the rest of our stay. The day after our tour I texted Claudio to say I had lost my scarf at dinner the previous evening and he immediately phoned the restaurant for me. All three of us would highly recommend a walking tour with Claudio.

One of my greatest joys in Tokyo is strolling through its historical sites, such as Asakusa, Kaminarimon, Higashi Hongan-ji and Meiji Jingu Temple. Imbibing the rich heritage of shrines and temples fills me with a sense of wonder and appreciation.     Fast paced tour covers a lot of ground…in a good way. A great mix of food, culture, history and a real variety of experiences ranging from a wonderful museum to a flower market, sound and light harbor display, bird market, various street food stalls and finally a sit down meal in a local restaurant which few tourists would ever know about. Alfred was extremely knowledgeable, energetic and friendly. Highly recommended!!

    Shochan was very customer oriented, she customized the tour for me with the sights I wanted to see and adjusted the starting point of the tour to the first location so we could get started at the first sight requested. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed my conversation with her on local culture, food, and life in general! Highly recommend!

    Our tour with Amy last night was great. We got to see so much in the 3 hour period and learned a lot about the history of the shrines and temples. We enjoyed all the areas we toured and loved being able to grab snacks along the way. One highlight was the Yasaka shrine because it was so beautiful with the lights at night and it still had beautiful maple trees around. Overall, Amy did a really good personalizing the tour for our interests and showing us around Kyoto

    Robert met us this morning as planned at Statute Square, from the initial whatsapp messages a day before, offering advice and suggestions, we knew we were on to a good thing. We weren’t wrong. Robert picked some attractions and sights for us to see after a few short minutes chatting, his knowledge of Hong Kong is exceptional, being a Dutch national with exceptional English and as we learnt, Cantonese, German and Dutch he is the perfect tour guide of HK. I guess living here and offering tours for more than 40 years helps!! What a fount of knowledge. His understanding of Hong Kong and its history is unsurpassed, the descriptions given were articulate, concise where required and lengthy when needed. We visited temples, the Peak, the slow rollercoaster (Funicular) local bars, restaurants, subway, train, tram and even a bus and shown all the historical sights anyone could want with exceptional explanations. He even knew the names of the artists who painted the walls in and around the older parts of town. All we can offer is a huge thank you to Robert and advise any and all to take this unscripted tour of Hong Kong. It’s worth every penny (which isn’t too much to start with). We will see you again. Thanks Robert. Ian and Rob (from Ireland & England).
