Here's Martina, a florentine 26 years old girl who is in love with food and travelling. I just graduated in Florence and I'm currently working as Front Desk Manager in a Bed&Breakfast in the city centre. Throughout my work experience, and also while accompanying all my Spanish friends during their holidays here in Italy, I realized how much I was interested in guiding people to hidden places, bars and restaurants, and have walks with them in beautiful gardens. I am really passionate about food and always love to try new restaurants to discover what's new in town. I am also working in the cultural world, and by living in a city such as Florence, exploring and talking about art is essential! A really good holiday is a mix of food, landscapes, traditions and art! You just need to figure out which is the best way to enjoy it for you! I lived here for all my life, I know this city as my pocket, and it would be a pleasure to experience its hidden (and not so hidden) gems with you!

I love Martina! She was an excellent tour guide. While walking around, she pointed out the different influences of the Medieval and Renaissance periods in the architecture. Very kind when answering my overly simplistic questions. She also made sure to ask what I was interested in so she covered all the bases. Our last stop was a bite to eat at a local panini shop with a bit of wine. Delicious! Very much enjoyed the tour around Florence with her.

Martina went above and beyond and showed us an amazing tour in Florence for the afternoon we were there. There is no way we could have covered what she showed us on our on. She is fun personable and full of knowledge. She customized for our group perfectly!

We only had an afternoon in Florence and Martina let us see so much of the beauty of the city. She met us where stowed our bags by the train station and returned us to the same area with plenty of time to catch our next train. We bought a beautiful leather jacket, saw the highlights and finished with a spectacular hill view looking over Florence. There is no way we could have enjoyed our afternoon any more. It was wonderful!
