One of my favorite things to do is explore the breathtaking nature around us, from serene gardens to beautiful landscapes, Kanazawa never fails to amaze me. And I love our seasonal and cultural events like hanabi (fireworks) and hyakumangoku (one million koku of rice)! I know the city's neighborhoods like the back of my hand. Whether you need recommendations for the best restaurants or insider tips on hidden gems, I've got you covered. So come on, let's explore Kanazawa together and uncover all the wonders this city has to offer. There's so much to be discovered and I can't wait to show you around!
Akari took the time to contact us in advance to ask about our interests resulting in a tour which covered the areas we wanted to see as well as interesting local insights. The day before the tour she also provided restaurant recommendations and offered to help with reservations.

Akari was our private tour guide in Kanazawa. She was wonderful and very helpful. We asked to go through a specific Samurai house and she added it to our itinerary and shared many interesting things about the history with us. She was patient and great with our 14 and 10 year old children. We also asked for many recommendations and she was able to help us. Thank you very much for accommodating us!

We went for the quick 2 hour option and it was great because of Akari, the guide’s flexibility. We still saw the tea house district and the samurai house. She knew Japanese history and that was informative. She dropped us off at the fish market and we parted ways! Perfect.
