I was born in Palermo, Italy. I moved to Edinburgh in 2001, aged 19, after taking a Diploma in Catering and Hospitality. In 2006, I completed an HND in Scottish Tourism and Languages. I have covered many roles in the tourism industry and 2013, I became a self-employed tour guide. My greatest passion is History and Architecture but I also have a keen interest in archeology, geology, and geography. Food plays a big part in my life and I consider myself a foodie. We had the pleasure of exploring Edinburgh with Calcedonio during a half day private tour. He took us on an amazing walking tour of the the old and new town while pointing out important sights along the way. His tour was very thorough and intriguing. Because of him, we will likely visit Edinburgh again!

Cal was great. He improvised to make our tour match our needs. We loved how he gave us so much information about the history and culture of Scotland as a whole. And he went above and beyond and made some recommendations for the rest of our vacation.
