I've been told that I am a good storyteller good stories teller and I love sharing all my stories and insights. My hobbies are reading, writing, driving, meeting new people having a good time. Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and has been my home for more than 2 decades. Cape Town is a city surrounded by mountains and oceans, part of Cape Town is built on top of the water. A section of the Atlantic Ocean in Table Bay was converted from Sea to Land and is now known as the Foreshore. Over the years I have familiarized myself with all the spots that make Cape Town one of the most unique places on earth. These spots include: 1. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, which is a section of South Africa's oldest operational harbor. The shopping center, which spans 123 hectares and has more than 450 retail stores and plenty of food and entertainment options. 2. The Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, is home to approximately 7000 different plant varieties. The gardens, one of nine in the nation spanning five of South Africa's six biomes, are tucked away on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. 3. Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Extending south from Cape Town is the Cape of Good Hope, the peninsula that divides the Atlantic Ocean and False Bay (featuring numerous beautiful beaches as a result). Formerly an independent nature reserve, the Cape now lies encompassed by Table Mountain National Park and features miles of tranquil walking trails lined with fynbos (a colorful shrub-like plant). 4. Robben Island is situated in Table Bay, 11 kilometers off the coast of Cape Town. Nelson Mandela, the former president of South Africa, spent 18 of his 27 years in prison there during the Apartheid era, making it famous around the world. 5 . The Winelands. The South African wine industry has grown into one of the most well-known in the world. It is also the oldest wine industry outside of Europe and has one of the longest wine routes in the world. Starting just outside of Cape Town, Route 62 runs for 850km and ends in Port Elizabeth. 6 Chapman’s Peak Drive winds its way between Noordhoek and Hout Bay on the Atlantic Coast on the southwestern tip of South Africa. Chapman’s Peak Drive is one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world. Chapman’s Peak Drive is affectionately known as #Chappies. Join me for a tour of all the sites that make Cape Town the tourist hotspot that it is.
We were lucky to have a Congolese guide who spoke French, and it was a really interesting visit.— Annick , Cape Town
So glad to be of your acquaintance. I have been working within the tourism industry for over 20 years so I have a good idea of what the discerning visitor would enjoy. Food? Yes! Cape cuisine is classic. When cooking for my family, I pretend to be Jamie Oliver delivering hearty meals. When visiting the Cape Malay Café the discerning visitor will feel their taste buds come alive. Cape Town not only presents a melting pot of culture and tradition but a menu of both local and global. At the Community Arts Project I was introduced to the art of creating linocuts and this experience deepened my appreciation of the arts. During the upgrade at the Table Mountain Cableway I was introduced to manual- as well as technical labour and this matured me. It is here my people skills got harnessed awa first aid and thinking outside the box. Now nothing inspires the discerning traveller more than combining food and art. Love it!

I am from the always friendly area of Retreat in the Southern Suburbs. I love sports, travelling, laughing and eating really good food. I grew up in Cape Town and have spent my entire life here, so I know the city inside-out. I am a stand-up comedian at night, and this has allowed me to see so many places all across the city. I have traveled around the country and have seen and explored great places both popular and unknown, but all equally amazing! I have good people skills and love to engage in great conversations. Add this to a great sense of humour and extensive knowledge of Cape Town and you're guaranteed a fun time!
