Hi there! I’m Max, your local host here in Osaka. What I love most about this vibrant city is how it’s always buzzing with energy, yet maintains a laid-back atmosphere where people are warm. Each neighborhood has its own unique charm, from the retro vibes of Shinsekai to the lively streets of Namba and the modern feel of Umeda. I enjoy discovering new izakayas, cafes, and bars, and I am always on the lookout for hidden gems. I'm particularly fond of the street art and galleries in Nakazakicho and Nakanoshima, and I know the best spots in Tenma and Kyobashi for a great night out at the pubs. I love spending time at Osaka Castle Park, taking in the beautiful natural surroundings. Had a good time with our tour guide. It was interesting to see how vastly different the streets and alleys of Osaka look and feel. As if it is like different cities altogether. It was nice seeing these places! The 4 hour tour is a good amount of time to look around and then the later half to further check out other areas that were recommended.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 4-hour walking tour with our guide Max. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and pleasant, easy to talk to. He had a great path laid out for us and we got to see some of the exciting busier street with shops and supermarkets, as well as a walk to Osaka Castle and through the park. A very nice taste of Osaka. Max guided us through public transportation with ease, and gave excellent recommendations on where to sample local cuisine and even dropped us off at a Sukiyaki restaurant on request right inside Osaka station. Would recommend this tour and Max. We logged over 20,000 steps walking on our particular tour.
