As a dancer and actor, I love telling stories too. And there are so many great stories to share about all the interesting people that once dwelled in this adventurous town full of historical intrigues. Want to experience the rich Nagasaki culture? Armand ensured that our tour was engaging and fun for not only us but also our 9 year old grandson. We were treated to lots of quirky facts, and places we visited included temples, shrines and our favourite, Dejima. Our grandson especially liked hunting for Miffy hidden around this area. Armand kindly took photos of us so that we could always treasure our Nagasaki memories.

We enjoyed our time with Armand as he took us to try FRESH sashimi at a lovely restaurant. Everything there was delicious. After lunch we had a pleasant walk to a temple which was very beautiful. There we enjoyed a casual tea ceremony where we met some lovely locals celebrating a 90th birthday. The grounds were calming and serene. Next we walked through the city and an arcade to best ice cream shop! All in all a great day. Thank you Armand!

Six of us, ranging in age from the early seventies to 79 walked all over Nagasaki today with Armand in the rain. He had cleverly mapped out the walk to minimize hills and steps. He’s knowledgeable, kind, attentive to everyone’s needs and a lot of fun to be with. Treat him well. He is a real asset.
