I'm Yuka, your friendly local host in Hiroshima! What I love most about Hiroshima is that it's not only known as a symbol of world peace but is also blessed with a mild climate, beautiful nature, and warm, friendly people—it’s such a comfortable place to live. I absolutely love Okonomiyaki, Hiroshima’s famous local dish! It’s not just for tourists—I eat it all the time. Enjoying food and drinks is a big part of my life! I live in Fukuyama City, and I’m happy to share my favorite spots across Hiroshima Prefecture: Hiroshima City, the spiritual island of Miyajima, the charming port town of Tomonoura in Fukuyama, the rabbit paradise of Ōkunoshima, the sake town of Saijō, and the scenic island city of Onomichi. We had a fabulous day with your guide Yuka! We got to Miyajima Island at high tide and everything looked like it was floating! Our guide Yuka was the best! She was super knowledgeable and so much fun to be with. She was in touch with us several times before the tour to ensure she knew what we were most interested in and to ensure we knew where to meet up. She was relaxed and easy going and fun to talk with. She recommended a place for lunch that we never would have tried and we thoroughly enjoyed it and our time with Yuka. We highly recommend this tour and if you can request Yuka for your guide, do it!!

Our tour with Yuka was amazing! You did a great job of connecting us with a guide who was knowledgeable and fun to be with. Yuka was in touch with us several times before the tour to ‘get acquainted’ and coordinate our meeting place. She was relaxed and easy going and lots of fun to talk with. We ended up taking her to lunch after the tour. She recommended a place we never would have tried and we had a delicious meal and more fun time together. A great tour and guide that we would highly recommend!
