Hi there! I'm Sumire, your friendly local host in the amazing city of Fukuoka. I'm so grateful to call this city my home, and I love sharing its unique charm with visitors. Fukuoka is truly special, being the entrance of Asia and with its convenient location near the international airport, it's easy to access from the downtown area. Plus, the city is a perfect blend of historical buildings and modern city life, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. In my free time, I enjoy watching local theatre plays, exploring the delicious food scene, and discovering hidden gems around the city. I'm an expert when it comes to the streets and historic places in both Hakata and Tenjin, and I love showing visitors around these areas to showcase the charm of this fantastic city. We are so pleased that Sumire was our guide. We cannot thank her enough. As a family with young adult children, she tailor made all of the stopping points. We chose to have a personal guide on our first day in Japan to also help us settle in and understand about the culture and how to enjoy the most of the country. Sumire exceed our every expectation. Our 19 year old son was talking today about how she showed us the ritual at the shrine and how beautiful it was. Thank you Sumire for making it all so special.
