Hi, I’m Roberto, and I absolutely love getting lost in Venice’s hidden corners. I’m always excited to show visitors the quieter, lesser-known spots that make Venice so special. Whether it’s a hidden café tucked away on a side street or a peaceful square where you can sit and soak up the atmosphere, Venice has plenty of surprises. I know this city like the back of my hand. It was very refreshing to be in the hands of a well seasoned tour operator who not only knew his subject, but had personally lived his subject for well over 50 years. Roberto was able to share his personal family history, as a Venetian and the places here in his family lived, worked, shopped, and eight as only a local Venetian could

Roberto was great. Very experienced guide who really knew his subject matter, especially the history and culture of the city he had grown up and lived most of his life in. I spent two weeks in Italy and did daily tours and this was by far my best experience. Roberto provided a personal element to the experience that was unique.

Never did a tour like this and didn’t know what to expect but was really happy we booked with Roberto. If I could have I would have traversed Venice with Roberto our whole time here. He was informative but it was clear he loves Venice and wants you to see it through a local Venetian eyes. Thank you for the additional advice on where to go off the beaten path.
