I like Venice because you can cross the whole town on foot and never encounter an ugly neighborhood. In fact, every single square, street, and the building has a story to tell, and you could just spend days wandering without ever having enough. But there is more, good restaurants, interesting museums and monuments, the lagoon with its islands that you can reach with a boat ride that’s a dream. You also come across original little shops hidden away all around the town. It’s a dive into the past that has no equal, and no matter how well it’s described, there’s nothing like seeing it.
Great walking tour of Venice. Daniel did a good job of personalizing our experience. He had a great knowledge of the city and was kind enough to pick up at our hotel.
