I'm a journalist and a non-fiction author by trade who has a passion for learning about my city and the people who live in it, and then passing those stories along to others. I'm a huge reader, but I don't just live my life with my nose in a book - I like to be out and about, venturing up and down San Francisco's 40-plus hills on my bike and discovering new restaurants, music venues and cultural scenes outside of the usual SF destinations.
