Howdy! Originally from Ireland, I’m an honorary New Yorker and Irish-American, living and very much at home in the cultural capital of the Western world - the concrete jungle where dreams are made of - New York City! At the moment I’m studying a Master in Musical Theatre Writing at the Tisch School of the Performing Arts, NYU, on an academic scholarship, and I recently made my off-off-Broadway debut at the Chain Theatre in midtown, starring in a show entitled, ‘If And When You Said Goodbye.’ I have been working as a tour guide here since gaining my state license certification. I graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature & History, receiving a First Class Honours for my creative writing dissertation from award winning novelist and screenwriter Eoin McNamee of the Oscar Wilde Center for Irish Writing. Alongside regular performances with the Trinity College drama society’s improv troupe, and writing, directing and performing in countless shows, it was while at Trinity that I began to work as a guide, giving tours of the college campus. Outside the world of theatre, I compose music and poetry voraciously, make lino prints, write screenplays and short stories, and loads else besides! It has been my absolute pleasure to get to know this vibrant city, and equally to share that knowledge and love as a host for people like you looking for a NYC experience they’ll never forget!
