I’ve lived in Amsterdam for 1 years
I speak English, Arabic
I am Jurnalist
My name is Rajaa Natour, an Arab-Palestinian journalist, and researcher translator currently working as a foreign correspondent in the Netherlands. Being a journalist has allowed me to explore different parts of Amsterdam and allowed me to see things through a different lens. I can take you to parts unknown. In my field of work, I have met a lot of people and accumulated a lot of experiences that I would love to share with you. I love meeting new people and engaging in thought-provoking dialogue. I like the city but I also really like the countryside. So I have visited almost all the parks in the city, OosterPark, WesterPark, Vondelpark, Boss Amsterdam, AmstelPark, and more. But my favorite park is the Flevopark as it's remote, very quiet, and close to Diemen park. I had the opportunity to travel also outside the city, so I went to Markin, Zaanse Schans, Giethoorn, and other remote dutch cities. So my knowledge and experience are not only related to Amsterdam itself but also include other cities. In addition to that, I go together with my friend weekly for 4-hour bike trips in and outside the Amsterdam area. I live in OOst and Javastraat, which is full of authentic Indian, Turkish, Moroccan, and Middle Eastern food shops and is one of my favorite spots ever in Amsterdam! Delicious, genuine, affordable prices offer a vast variety, including vegan. My favorite is Saeed's curry house, Saeed offers very lovely and tasty Indian food but also he sells lots of Indian products. I'm also a coffee person so I know most cafes in Oost! My favorite is the Bru coffee, so very tasty! I can't wait to explore Amsterdam together, go beyond the familiar and share my love of story-telling. Let's walk this path together and create an unforgettable experience.
