I booked a tour with City Unscripted through Viator. Anna did a great job giving us an overview of Amsterdam . I connected with her via email and gave her a list of places we would like to visit. She took us everywhere, she was punctual and easy to communicate with. She gave us tips on places to shop, which I later visited and thoroughly enjoyed. The only reason that I did not give the tour 5 stars is that there were some initial logistical issues assigning a tour guide to us. I booked the tour months ahead and coordinated everything with the assigned guide. Two days before, with no explanation, I got a cancellation from Viator saying my scheduled payment had failed. I could find no issue why my payment would have failed. I tried to rebook right away and had some issues with Viator app, so it took a few attempts. Once booked, I contacted City Unscripted through Viator, I requested the same guide so I wouldn’t have to go through all the planning again. They were very responsive, but later told me that they could not find the guide and assigned me a second one. I contacted that guide and planned everything out. I never heard back from that guide and they again told me that guide would not work out and sent me a third guide. In the end everything worked out, but it was additional stress that I did not want during my vacation. I appreciate that they were responsive and fixed it all.
