Hi, I’m Saori

I’ve lived in Fukuoka for 23 years

I speak English, Japanese and some French, Arabic, German

I am a Translator, Training Coach, Project Manager,Scuba underwater guide

Hello, my name is Saori, I was born and grew up in Dazaifu, Fukuoka which is the city of history. There are many temples, shrines, a national museum, and handy craft shops. It is only 30min away from the biggest central city of Kyushu Hakata/Tenjin, so it is suitable for a day trip or 1,2 day. I am keen on nature, and food (local and high class) culture/ cultural exchange so if the guests want to see/ experience the local and traditional culture of Japan and Fukuoka, will arrange a trip accordingly. Kabuki歌舞伎(Japanese traditional dance theatre) is available at Hakataza博多座 if any of the guests have an interest. I have worked as a Tour guide, interpreter, and underwater guide in Egypt, Jordan, Thailand, and Mozambique for 4 years+, so I have experience being a guide and can't wait to show you around Fukuoka.
